I loved staying here. Very clean, great location, beautiful but most importantly the staff. Pedro, Ali, Julio, Jaime, Cristina, , Daniel also Juan and Jorge Luis and Sashi at the restaurant. I felt as if I was with family. They are so nice, kind, friendly and helpful. The hotel is brand new. They seemed very happy to work in such a lovely place. I will stay here from now on.

Unser Aufenthalt im La Fonda de los Principes war rundum hervorragend und für unseren ersten Trip nach Madrid einfach die perfekte Wahl. Die Lage ist unschlagbar – besser geht es wirklich nicht. Man befindet sich praktisch direkt im Herzen von Madrid und kann alle zentralen Sehenswürdigkeiten sowie beliebte Viertel wie Chueca und Salesas bequem zu Fuß erkunden. Auch die Gran Vía ist nur wenige Schritte entfernt. Ein Auto haben wir überhaupt nicht gebraucht, da die Anbindung an den öffentlichen Verkehr ideal ist. Die nächste U-Bahn-Station erreicht man in etwa zwei Minuten. Das Zimmer war zwar eher klein, aber sehr sauber, modern eingerichtet und mit einem äußerst komfortablen Bett ausgestattet. Wir haben uns vom ersten Moment an sehr wohl gefühlt. Ein weiterer Pluspunkt ist die nahegelegene Parkmöglichkeit im Parking Plaza Del Carmen. Die Preise sind im Vergleich zu anderen Anbietern sehr fair, vor allem bei vorheriger Online-Buchung. Für drei volle Tage haben wir knapp 50 Euro bezahlt – mitten im Stadtzentrum ein absolut unschlagbares Angebot. Ein kleiner Hinweis: Rund um den Puerta del Sol ist praktisch rund um die Uhr sehr viel los, mit entsprechend vielen Menschen – tagsüber wie nachts. Daher empfiehlt es sich unbedingt, ein Zimmer zum Innenhof zu buchen, da es sonst mit der Ruhe schwierig werden kann. Insgesamt eine klare Empfehlung! Wir kommen beim nächsten Madrid-Besuch sehr gerne wieder.
