Amazing year round mountain views located in quaint Crockett's Meadow. Sit in the rocking chairs or at the firepit. From the sixteen foot porch you can watch the elk and fireflies surrounding the cabin. LOCATION LOCATION LOCATION! Less than 10 minutes to the Blue Ridge Parkway. Thirty minutes to Asheville. Fifteen minutes to the ski resort.

Linger Longer Elk Lodge has 1450 sq. ft. of living space plus a huge wrap around deck. All of this located at the end of a quiet paved road and no steep roads. This charming cabin has a beautiful stone gas fireplace, granite countertops, a live log beam, and a beautiful rustic staircase.

The cabin has 3 bedrooms and two baths. There are 2 plush king size beds and 1 queen bed. The master bedroom has a shower while the upstairs bath is a bathtub/shower combination.
There is some new construction in the area.
This holiday home's great location gets high marks from our customers. During your stay, you'll be within walking distance of Maggie Valley Gem Mine. Features include laundry facilities. Free WiFi and a kitchen are available in the holiday home.

Amazing! The cabin was extremely clean, comfortable for 6 adults and had a beautiful view. Norma was very helpful and quick to respond to my messages. We all loved seeing the elks, ground-hogs, chipmunks, hummingbirds and even one skunk. We truly didn't want to leave. We definitely will come back again.

Cabin was exceptionally clean and well maintained. Location was close to Cherokee, Waynsville and Asheville.There are a lot of new cabins being built so not many open fields and the Elk did not come close to cabin but there was a farm next to neighborhood where they would come every evening to graze and we would drive over there to watch them.Norma was very responsive and helpful with any questions we had about the property or area. Cabin is very spacious and perfect for a family vacation!

Could not have been better. Property was even better than expected. I spent time talking to and getting to know the neighbors, all very nice people. Spectacular views yet close to everything we needed, even saw an elk walking across the street. Communication with the owner was second to none. Quiet Getaway

We were looking for quiet tranquility with a view. Even though you have neighbors everyone is friendly and respects your privacy. Cabin is very well appointed and exceptionally clean. However the killer is the outside deck. Even when it rains you have plenty of cover to sit it out. We did not try out the fire pit because we were too lazy. Definitely a cabin I would return too many times.

Girls trip!!

We had the most amazing weekend in this perfect little cabin! It’s so cozy and relaxing! The elk were only a few yards away every morning and evening! They are so beautiful grazing in the fields around the cabin! Great local restaurants and real close to Cherokee! Can’t wait to go again!!

Beautiful Cabin

We came during an arctic blast….lows in the single digits. This cabin was the absolute perfect place to settle in and take in the mountains feels. The fire pit was so relaxing while watching the elk play and eat around us.

Cabin Like-New Condition!

From the moment my family arrived, we were impressed by the Like-New condition of this cabin. It appears as all upgradeable options were selected in the construction process, and it has been professional maintained. We would most certainly stay here again if we find ourselves returning to Maggie Valley.
