Costa Maya Yum Botic is an ideal place for someone who wants to get away from it all and be surrounded by nature – most call it paradise!
Costa Maya Yum Botic’s two-story curved design captures the Caribbean Sea breezes for your comfort. Its 11 foot ceilings and transom windows enhance cross ventilation. The home has a fully stone tiled interior with four bedrooms, three with its own private bathroom, walk-in closets, and spectacular views of the Caribbean Sea. The first floor has a great room with living room-kitchen-dining area and the front door opening to the garden patio. The kitchen area has granite counter tops, stainless steel appliances and ample cabinet space. The main floor also a half-bathroom, bedroom, laundry room and a fourth bedroom or office. All first floor rooms have access to the beachfront patio with two outdoor showers. Walking up the mahogany stairs, one finds the master suite and a third bedroom both with doors to the expansive stone tiled terrace facing the sea.
The stunning area known as the Costa Maya is located on the lower third of the Yucatan peninsula on the sparkling blue Caribbean Sea. Known for its pristine white sandy beaches, Costa Maya is a tropical paradise with fauna and flora including abundant coconut palm trees. Centered in the Costa Maya is the small town of Mahahual. Once a sleepy fishing village, Mahahual has grown into a small resort town with charming hotels and a wide range of dining and shopping opportunities. Costa Maya offers a wide range of spectacular water activities including snorkeling, scuba diving, deep sea and bone fishing, paddle boarding, swimming and just plain relaxing on the beach!
Only several hundred meters offshore, the Mesoamerican Barrier Reef protects the coastline from possible turbulent seas. The coral reef, often known as the Mayan Barrier Reef, is the second largest barrier reef in the world – second only to the Great Barrier Reef in Australia – and extends 965 kilometers (600 miles) from the Yucatan Peninsula to Honduras. Costa Maya is diver’s and snorkeler’s paradise and the home to five hundred species of fish and one of the largest colonies of manatees on the planet.

With Jungle in the rear and on both sides, Yum Botic is quiet and secluded.
Kitchen
The fully equipped kitchen has built in wooden cabinets, granite countertops and a Whirlpool refrigerator and gas stove. A French press and Melita filters are at hand for your morning coffee. A half bath is beside the kitchen area.

Off the Grid power and conservation:
YUM BOTIC is sustained totally by solar and wind power with a back up generator, we don’t provide electric coffee makers or microwaves. Any heat producing electronics such as hair dryers are not allowed. Rainwater is the source for water which is stored in a underground cistern below the porch. During the dry season water must be trucked in. Water conservation is essential. Bottled water is provided for drinking.
