The house is located above the BEAU VALLON beach on Mahe. Josie's Cottage is located 10 to 15 minutes' walk from Beau Vallon Beach, where you will find numerous supermarkets and restaurants.a self-catering house consisting of two separately accessible flats. The lower flat can accommodate 2 people and the upper flat is ideal for 3 people. The flats are separately accessible. However, there is also an internal access via an internal staircase that connects the two flats. 3 bedrooms in the entire house. ( 2 large and 1 small )3 bathrooms2 livingrooms2 kitchens1 balcony1 terrace ( + 1 terrace in the main house next door )2 staircases ( 1 outside staircase and 1 inside staircase )
The house consists of two flats, which are accessible separately ( upper flat via outside staircase ). However, there is also an internal staircase connecting the two flats. The larger flat is on the upper floor and all rooms are cleaned once a week and towels and sheets are also provided free of charge. A washing machine is available. The upper flat is larger and has two bedrooms, each with a bathroom. The upstairs flat has a balcony, living room, air conditioning and a fully equipped kitchen. You can also enjoy the view of Beau Vallon Bay from the balcony. - The lower flat is slightly smaller and has a bedroom with a double bed and air conditioning, as well as a bathroom, a living room --- also with a fully equipped kitchen and a terrace. There is air conditioning in the bedroom. Both flats are connected by a staircase with an intermediate door that can be closed or opened as required. . - TV available in both flats. Wifi is available throughout the house and is free of charge.
The house is located on the main island of MAHE on Beau Vallon Bay. The house is elevated with great views of Beau Vallon Bay. Due to the elevated location, a hire car is recommended, as everywhere on the island. ( see also picture ) . Our accommodation is safe, nothing has happened yet, but there is always a first time. Please deposit your valuables in the safe or leave them with Josie. Otherwise, always lock up well and do not leave any valuables lying around in the room, on the terrace or in the hire car. In the evening, please also clear things away from the terrace and, as everywhere else in the world, do not leave valuables unattended on the beach. There are Tourist Police on Mahé who keep an eye on the beach. It's supposed to act as a deterrent. We also offer island hopping to the neighbouring islands of Praslin and La Dique, including ferry bookings and possibly an overnight stay on Praslin. Please do not hesitate to contact me.
We, professionalism and noise We are not a hotel and we are in Africa. Therefore, not everything is always perfect. If something is missing, you can tell us and if something is broken, the repair can take some time - as is typical for the country. But we always endeavour to do our best. You shouldn't be particularly sensitive to noise on the island. The dogs bark or howl in the evening and at night, the cockerels crow or the birds start singing early in the morning - you name it. It's especially nice when the fruit bats fight over a piece of fruit at night, even though the whole tree is full. At the weekend there are parties on the beach, and there doesn't even have to be an occasion. The bass is blaring from the cars - you can't understand the music, but that's just as well. People often honk their horns, which makes us wonder why they are honking - don't ask them, they don't know either. The Creole spoken by the locals actually consists of loud noises and if we think they are arguing - far from it - everything is in the green zone, except for our ears.in Josies Cottage you are in the centre of family life, including celebrations and everything that goes with it. But you can also have your peace and quiet or be left in peace if you wish
