'JUAN DE AUSTRIA' Central Penthouse is a brand new, superior apartment located in the heart of Malaga city. It features two bedrooms and can accommodate up to four people. Situated in a modern building, it boasts a private terrace with sun loungers and an outdoor dining area. Free private parking is available in the same building (with direct elevator access).

It's a second-floor apartment with an elevator, and it's laid out in a duplex style. The lower level has a living room, kitchen, bathroom, and a double bedroom with two single beds (which can be joined to form a double). Upstairs, there's a bedroom with a double bed, a full bathroom, and access to a rooftop terrace with sun loungers and an outdoor lounge area.

It has an elevator, internet access (WIFI), central heating and air conditioning, and a Smart TV.

The apartment was located close enough to central Malaga, but far enough away from the tourists and noise. The entry way area was a bit dirty with trash, but mainly from neighboring apartments. The apartment interior was clean and most everything provided. We liked that there were staples like sugar, salt and other supplies. However, there are no trash cans in the bathrooms nor any soap nfor the bathroom sinks and master shower. The parking is unique with a car elevator to transport the car to the parking garage (2 levels). You need to be confident with your parking skills to maneuver, but it was fine after the first time. Our biggest issue was that we specifically booked the place for its parking spot and laundry facilities. It is advertised to have a washer and dryer. When we inquired about this with the property manager, his only response was "there is no interior washer/dryer" and then ghosted us. We sent 4 texts with no reply. We would have been satisfied if he made some effort to explain the miscommunication or even suggest a nearby laundry mat. We had to figure that out ourselves and spend part of our vacation time in a laundry mat. Not cool! The apartment was fine, but do not rent here is you are expecting laundry services or communication.

Great location in a true neighbourhood. Secure underground parking is a plus. Clean roomy apartment. There is no access to laundry despite what the listing shows. Communication with the host and/or property manager could be better.

Best stay in Malaga

This property is located in a quiet neighbourhood with 3 grocery stores with 10 minutes walk and 10 minutes walk to city centre with many local attractions, bar and restaurants. It was a perfect location for us and our 2 friends. We enjoyed lounging in the terrace in early evenings. There was a delay in responding to our queries a week before arrival . The property manager helped us check-in and left useful instructions.
