It took a while sorting out the booking at reception as it didn't seem to list the car parking I had already paid for but the receptionist was helpful, friendly and got it sorted. Rooms were comfortable and spacious.

The room was dated which is fine if it is well looked after but it was filthy. The duvet cover looked like it had a blood stain on it. If it wasn’t for the fact it was such a late arrival

Just ok

Room was spacious but very dated. Clean but in need of redecorating. We arrived at 2pm and was able to book straight in, which was much appreciated. Car parking was exceptionally limited and, when asked, we were told it is not guaranteed and we may need to find parking on the street, although it is on a main road! This left us feeling a bit uneasy about returning later in the evening. At 8:30pm, we returned and created our own space as the car park was full, people unable to park and cars parked very poorly taking up two spaces. Reception also failed to give some people the gate code on arrival so we joined a queue to get around the one way system while looking for a place. Bar and restaurant area was nice, clean and well staffed, as well as reasonably priced. We enjoyed a pizza! Beds were firm, which suited us however the walls as paper thin so we woke up several times to a baby crying next door or talking. A significant amount of condensation on the windows in the morning and no extractor fan in the bathroom. Ok, on many levels, including a reasonable price, but won’t be my first choice in the future.

The room and hotel is very clean however the bed and pillows were incredibly uncomfortable, had the worst sleep ever. We order food from the restaurant (chicken burgers)which was really nice. We paid for the breakfast which was ok.

Lovely hot shower but shower gel holder empty. No decaf coffee either for rooms or restaurant. Hairdryer faulty as it screeched, had burning smell and was red hot when switched on. As I could not find number for reception I had to go down with wet hair to get a replacement. Was not asked for room number so no note taken. I took faulty one to reception when checking out as I did not want it to cause an injury to any other guest. The staff in the restaurant were friendly and efficient
