Staff were sound and helpful. Room was very cramped. It’s okay if you’re on your own for one night but any more would be uncomfortable. Two adults would struggle in a double room. Building doesn’t seem to sound-proofed and could hear the water dispenser being used in the corridor throughout the night. It was loud enough to wake me up at 3am. There’s no kettle and you have to pay £2.50 for a hot drink from a vending machine which doesn’t have any decaf drinks apart from boiling water which is a £1. Mattress was decent but pillows were limp.

You get what you pay for. Small box room with very little space to spread out but the bathroom facilities were more than acceptable and it helped me with my early starts at work being so centrally located for such a reasonable price. Don’t expect luxury, but don’t moan about the standard of the rooms if you’ve had a bargain

A nice hotel but kept being reminded it was a *budget* hotel but £200 a night i wouldnt class as *budget* with most other hotels at around that price or £10 more. Most of the light fightings where broken.

Perfect for a overnight stay, cheap and easy acces

The hotel was nice, reception was nicely styled. A lift to each floor. The room was clean and tidy just a little on the small side but was managable for 2 people.

The service from the lady at the reception was awful, the heating was on full blast and it was so hot I thought my wife was going to faint. The tv wouldn’t switch off in our bedroom and I had to go to reception to ask for the master remote to turn it off as the batteries and the remote provided didn’t work. The mast remote also didn’t work so we had to have the tv on all night which meant we didn’t sleep. There was also a dog barking most of the night a couple of doors down from us. We stayed for our 18th wedding anniversary and we had the worst nights stay. We will not be recommending to anyone and we will definitely not be staying there again

Cheap so you cannot expect more than 1 start facilities but the e rooms are very tiny and awkward with no shelves to even put anything on and nowhere to hang more than a coat Bathroom ok but ours had poor running water so just dribbled out Cold and air con could not turn to heater so had to loan a fan heater making it difficult to sleep with noise Just to small and horrible layout

I recently stayed at this hotel and unfortunately, I wouldn’t return unless it was an emergency. On the positive side, the location is great, the rooms are clean, and the interior is modern. However, those are the only real highlights. The biggest issue was the noise. It was constantly loud—doors being slammed by other guests, people talking in the hallway or even in their rooms, and noise from the street. It was very difficult to relax or sleep. The room itself was extremely cramped, with hardly any space to put things. There was no table, no chair, and no closet—just two knobs on the wall to hang clothes. I had to keep all my belongings, including my phone, on the bed because there was nowhere else. All in all, it was an uncomfortable and stressful stay. I’d only consider coming back if I had no other option.

Nice stay overall Great location, room in good condition and clean I liked that the original brickwork was left exposed What was strange was that the room was too small. I expected a small room. However, I could hardly walk between the foot of the bed and the wall and I'm thin. Additionally, soundproofing needs improving. I am a deep sleeper and expect people coming and going at night in Manchester. However, even I woke up due to the noise of room doors banging etc.
