The room was dated and had a musty smell. The heating was broken and it was absolutely freezing - the best they could do was provide an extra duvet. We arrived at 1PM and were turned away to come back at 3PM without even checking if the rooms were ready. No bottled water in the room.

The room was incredibly neglected. The sink in the bathroom was leaking so we had to put towels down, and the bath also leaked after taking a shower. We were also given only one bath towel for 2 people. The room was tiny with poor lighting making it impossible for getting ready.

Very pleasant place to stay, only reason I haven’t rated it higher this time is as who was in the room next to me was speaking loudly at 11.30 last night & also at 6am this morning. Due to that I checked out earlier & was at Manchester Piccadilly before 9am. Would have gone earlier if was light outside. No criticism with yourselves.

Had a initial issue with aircon in ro being stuck on and being freezing cold. Staff were quick to resolve this for us and move us rooms. New room was lovely and very comfy.

The staff were outstanding. 10/10. I really hate the new system for requests and contacting staff. You have to scan a qr code and go through several menus which aren’t clear or helpful and send a message having no idea if anyone is actually seeing it, because there’s no reply. I actually had to google the hotel # and call the front desk as the new system was useless. Also the rooms need updating, they’re looking tired and worn, though clean and well kept otherwise.
