Perfect central location

The staff at the desk were so lovely and helpful. Check in was super quick and easy. My room was very clean and tidy. The view was fantastic and the hotel is so central. Overall I was really happy with my stay.

The staff were friendly the rooms were clean and tidy rhe only critism that we felt was the electric socket was out completly and it broke my charger .also to find how to charge phones was a bit of a challenge.

The stay was okay, just a few things that would like to feedback on. The shower was very low and had to bend down to do my hair. Also the shower was leaking and created a puddle of water on the floor. The double doors in the corridor outside made a loud band every time someone went through them. They did not seem to shut properly which caused the noise. If they are fire doors should shut properly. Also had to pop down to reception twice as my card didn’t work. Was not keeping it by cards as advised it was in another pocket but still happened. Nice bar area and very friendly staff. Just a bit noisy with sounds from outside hotel.

Have stayed here many times. Room this time was dated, dirty duvet stained with blood, cracked tiles sink and toilet, no plug for bath. Aircon not working,room was boiling in October. Need a makeover for the price charged

My sevralth stay, the least satisfactory. Seemed more like a bare bones basic stay than a mid range highstreet option. Not good value for money. Breakfast buffet range good enough but quality poor

One lift out of order, no access to accommodation floors by stairs so had to wait 15mins+ for the working lift. Rooms very run down and dirty for the price. Cosmetic work done to the rooms at a very poor standard. Check in process extremely slow followed by issues with key card. Overall i would not recommended.

Hotel is being refurbished and rooms are OK.... Bathrooms very basic and the windows just not very nice. Biggest problem was that there are 15 floors that are served by max 3 lifts it's not enough... One was out of order for my stay making it even worse. Staying on the 10th floor often lifts would stop but already be full... Waited 10 mins...took the stairs but they were very poorly indicated and were like the back stairs to a 1940s council building.... Ended up going through a back corridor to find the dining room. Staff were all friendly and helpful and the breakfast was decent... So it's OK for a 1 night stay... Good location.... But don't go expecting comfort.... Expensive therefore for the quality on offer Also after the lift ordeal my key card didn't work when I arrived to my room so needed to go back to reception to have it re coded

We were attending an event at the hotel and booked a room for the convenience. The hotel is in a great location It was for a special occasion and we had booked a suite. The room was very spacious but very dated. The bathroom we felt was not up to a good standard - there was moulding all over the bath tub / shower (which can be removed with the right cleaning equipment). The headboard was all marked and just the general attention to detail was not there. We waited for the lift for ages with other guests and so we took the stairs which was fine but again we’re not up to standard . Unfortunately we wouldn’t be staying again.

Was very close to Manchester Piccadilly station so within walking distance, is very clean & a very comfortable bed. Staff on the reception very pleasant, I woke up at 5.10am but couldn’t get back to sleep due to noise I heard roughly every 90 seconds (I was on the 11th floor). Only 2 small lifts, struggled to get on them at times - even though you want to go to a lower floor, you may find the lift goes up.

Good location for the hotel, overall the stay was satisfactory. However, on arrival the lifts took 25 minutes to arrive -one was out of order which left 2 lifts serving the hotel- we tried to take the stairs however only went to the 4th floor. Once we arrived in our room it was relatively clean but there was dirty full nappy bag (not ours and smelt quite strong) behind the bathroom door and every time you showered the bathroom flooded. Again, once we wanted to go out / leave the lifts took 20+ minutes to arrive. Okay stay but probably wouldn’t come again.

Hotel ready for a for an update

The room was OK, in desperate need of an update. The family room we booked (as a twin) only had a double bed, so had to request a 'put you up' bed. The bathroom was 'tired' and the shower screen did little to prevent the bathroom floor becoming flooded
