Two night stay review

Poor check in experience - very slow. Room cleanliness could have been better and bathroom showing signs of age with water puddling on the floor when using the shower. WiFi not good so had to hotspot to the phone. Shower was hot, bed was comfortable and no noise from corridors or above so good nights sleep. Breakfast was very good.

Nice location but noisy and uncomfortable

The hotel is in a great location. The bar area is lovely with views over the city. Our room was on the 12th floor and again had excellent views. The room was clean but was starting to look dated. The bed was a small double in quite a small room. The bathroom was clean but again looked very dated. Sleep quality was poor as it was incredibly noisy. Doors slamming and lifts moving. Walls were paper thin and you could hear everything!

Tired - very tired and VERY noisy

Check in took forever and not sure why. My first room had a leak in the bathroom and next to the lifts which was so loud I could not sleep. I asked to be moved and was switched to an even worse room above the beeping of the trams into the early hours. On the plus side - breakfast was nice. The rooms are tired - no phone in room so had to go downstairs to complain

Arrived before the 3 oclock check in time but as our room was ready they very kindly let us check in. All areas of hotel were very clean and tidy. Breakfast had a good selection of food and drink. The only negative about the room was the coldness coming off the window. This made the room feel cold but was helped by thick curtains and temperature contolled heating. Would use this hotel again as it was centrally located with tram and bus stops outside the hotel.

Very good in the end

When we arrived our room was freezing cold, the aircon and bathroom radiator didn't work. We were given a portable radiator (with a broken wheel) but it didn't help. We asked to be moved to a different room which was done immediately, no problem. Second room was excellent, warm, clean and very comfortable.

Wifi was very poor or non existent Breakfast was good but the system said we were not eligible even though we had paid for it the previous afternoon as it said we had had it the day before. Hotel is tired and could do with upgrading rooms shower leaked through screen Staff on the whole were very helpful

The hotel is in a good location but the general maintenance is very poor, bathroom fittings half hanging off not functioning properly... If I hadn't been in a rush I would have asked to change rooms, one of the rooms I book had already been changed as maintenance had not replaced the battery in the door so it was unable to be opened
