Escape to the countryside and enjoy a unique rural stay in our Family Pod at Flat Hills Café & Tourist Park, conveniently located just off State Highway 1 in the heart of the beautiful Rangitīkei region.

Perfect for families, small groups, or travellers looking for something a little different, this cosy pod comfortably sleeps up to 4 guests with two single beds and a queen loft bed. The pod offers a warm and comfortable space to relax after a day of exploring.

Inside you'll find:

• Bar fridge
• Tea and coffee making facilities
• Heater for cooler evenings
• Fan for warmer days
• Linen and towels provided

Please note that the pod is not self-contained. Guests have access to our clean and well-maintained communal kitchen, lounge, bathrooms, and shower facilities. These facilities are located nearby and require a short outdoor walk from the pod. We provide an umbrella.

During your stay, you're welcome to enjoy everything Flat Hills has to offer. Meet our friendly farm animals, relax with a coffee or meal in the café, let the kids explore the playgrounds, play on the bouncy castle or challenge the family to our giant maze. With wide open spaces and a peaceful rural setting, there's plenty of room to unwind and reconnect.

We can also offer farm tours and animal encounters, but these must be booked well in advance and are subject to availability.

Located halfway between Wellington and Taupō, Flat Hills is an ideal stopover for road trips, family holidays, sporting events, and North Island adventures.
