Needs some work

I only had a short stay. Unfortunately, it fell on a night and wished there was a huge religious gathering. The area around the hotel was very congested and crowded. I think under normal circumstances this location is actually a very convenient one, just not during my stay. I should point out that while the area right around the hotel is OK, some of the adjacent areas are pretty sketchy. The hotel itself needed some TLC and upgrading. The staff was friendly and helpful. On my arrival, I was given a room. The bell man took me up to the room and when we opened the door, the room was already occupied. They then gave me another room and when we got there, it was literally a gutted room under construction. Finally, the third room was OK. The furniture was very worn and shabby and the room definitely needed to also be gutted and upgraded. Since I was only there for one night, it served its purpose, but I would not return for a longer stay.
