Tämä ensimmäisen kerroksen ylähuoneisto tarjoaa kevyttä ja tilavaa majoitusta kahdelle hengelle. Se on vain muutaman minuutin päässä rannalta ja lyhyen kävelymatkan päässä muinaisesta mukulakivikadusta, joka johtaa hiekkaa yli laskuveden historialliseen St Michaels -vuoren linnaan, jota ympäröi sub trooppiset puutarhat. Nousuveden aikana on usein taksiveneitä, jotka tekevät vierailun mahdolliseksi milloin tahansa päivästä. Lyhyen kävelymatkan päässä majoituspaikasta löydät Marazionin paikalliset pubit, ravintolat, galleriat ja kaupat. Kiinteistössä on myös etelään avautuva parveke merinäköalalla, jossa on pöytä ja kaksi tuolia. Siinä on avoin suunnitelma oleskelutila ruokailutila, varustettu keittiö ja aamiaisbaari. Tilavassa makuuhuoneessa on parivuode, sisäänrakennettu vaatekaappi ja lipasto. Sekä oleskelutilasta että makuuhuoneesta on näkymät merelle.
Huoneistoon ja parvekkeelle pääsee omien portaiden kautta.
Lyhyen ajomatkan päässä länteen löydät Penzancen kaupungin, täältä voit lautalla upealle Scillyn saarelle, vierailu Trescon luostarin puutarhaan on erittäin suositeltavaa. Lännessä sijaitsevat Hiirenreiä ja Porthcurno kuuluisan Gock-teatterin kanssa. Koko Penwithin niemimaa on siunattu kultaisilla rannoilla ja hiekkarannoilla, joihin kaikki pääsee 30 minuutin ajomatkan päässä, olipa kyse sitten etelärannikon suojaisista lahdista tai pohjoisrannikon surffausrannoista. Se on kaikki helpon matkan päässä.

Auto ei ole välttämätön Marazion-vierailulle, koska siellä on paljon tutkittavaa jalka ja omaisuus on aivan tien toisella puolella rannikkopolkua, joka halaa koko Cornishin rannikkoa. Siellä on myös ensiluokkainen bussiyhteys ja polkupyöränvuokraus on saatavilla Kymmenen minuutin kävelymatkan päässä kiinteistöstä, takseja on myös helposti saatavilla

Thoroughly enjoyable three weeks.

Lorraine and Mark were excellent hosts, very caring and intuitively considerate of our elderly needs. The property is light and airy with good views from the lounge, bedroom and balcony. A 5 minute walk to the amenities in Marazion. Every Wednesday and Thursday there is an Artisan craft market at the local Church Hall which serves excellent home cooked lunches and cream teas. Close access to the boat or causeway to the Island and a huge flat beach which stretches towards Penzance.

Excellent property in excellent location

The flat is perfectly located for all that Marazion has to offer and is also a great base to explore the area. Everything you need for your stay is provided and the flat is both comfortable and immaculate. Lorraine is a fantastic host. When we arrived she gave us some recommendations for places to eat, both of which we tried and both of which were excellent (The Fire Engine and Surf Club) and she was available by text for any questions we had during our stay. We would highly recommend the flat to anyone looking for a great escape to this beautiful part of the UK!

Gerne wieder!!

Es war ein ganz wunderbarer Aufenthalt in. Marazion. Das Appartment ist makellos sauber und sehr gut ausgestattet. Es hat an nichts gefehlt. Die Lage ist sehr gut, gleich gegenüber vom St. Michaels Mount. Von unserem Appartment aus hatten wir Meerblick und ein Parkplatz stand auch bereit. Er kann zwar nicht garantiert werden, aber wir hatten keine Probleme. Eine Bushaltestelle ist vor der Tür und kann das Auto eigentlich auch stehen bleiben. Das Godolphin und ein Pub sind in ein paar Minuten zu Fuß zu erreichen. Vielen Dank auch an Lorraine die uns die Schlüssel übergeben und uns alles gezeigt hat. Die Kommunikation ist gut und schnell. Wir würden jederzeit wieder dort buchen.

Ideal Apartment for 2

A light and airy apartment which is very well equipped. Just a couple of minutes walk to the beach and just a few minutes walk into the centre of Marazion. We had no problem parking at the complex but at times the car park was full - there always appeared to be spaces at the long stay car park but thankfully we didn't need to use it. Easy access to bus stops to Penzance & Praa sands (and other locations). Great location for a peaceful holiday. The ownner of the property was very helpful, friendly & very knowledgeable about the local area. Would stay there again.

Amazing apartment

The apartment is absolutely fantastic. Very comfortable & well appointed. It has everything you need for your stay. It is located in the small town of Marazion on the road opposite the beach & St Michael’s Mount. There are local shops & good pubs just down the road. The hosts, Lorraine & Mark were very friendly & helpful. We definitely recommend this accommodation.

Opposite St Michaels Mount

A very comfortable, clean first floor apartment in the middle of a picturesque Cornish village. Onsite parking was a bonus which made it very easy for our touring holiday. The facilities were excellent and the apartment was in east walking distance of St Michaels Mount, the beach, pubs, restaurants and coffee shops. Lorraine was a lovely host.

Wir haben eine sehr schöne Woche, bei herrlichem Wetter in Marazion verbracht und uns in der Ferienwohnung sehr wohl gefühlt. Die Wohnung liegt nah zum Strand, ist mit Wohnraum inkl. Essküche und Balkon, Schlafzimmer und Badezimmer sehr großzügig. Die Wohnung war sehr sauber und perfekt ausgestattet.

Summertime in Cornwall

Wir hatten superschöne 2 Wochen dort und haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt. Sehr nette und hilfsbereite Vermieter. Tollen Meerblick vom Balkon und aus der Wohnung. Uns waren die Balkonstühle leider zu unbequem und es fehlte uns ein kleines Gefrierfach und ein Sonnenschutz. Leider gehörte auch der im Inventar aufgeführte Whirlpool nicht zu unserer Wohnung. Aber das sind Kleinigkeiten, es fehlte sonst an nichts, selbst eine gute Grundausstattung an Gewürzen, Kaffee und Tee war vorhanden und ein Busfahrplan. Sehr empfehlenswert, wir würden jederzeit wieder kommen. Auch die Lage als Ausgangspunkt war optimal. Alle Daumen hoch!!!

Absolutely lovely

This apartment was the best accommodation we have booked for a holiday. It was immaculate and so spacious, it was so lovely to come back to each evening, to have a shower or a relaxing bath after a long day out exploring. It really does feel like home not being cramped in a tiny cottage, and having everything you could possibly need . I don’t think there’s anything that Lorraine hasn’t thought of? Lovely homely touches everywhere in the apartment, and having the washing machine and airer was a great extra as we travelled light. Location was just perfect, it was so quiet, that the only noise was the seagulls reminding you that you were so close to the sea. Personally I think this apartment is the best one out of the group, as none of them have the balcony looking straight on at the sea, and with full sun. It isn’t even a minute’s walk to cross the road to the beach and was good to see that there was plenty of room on the beach, even though it was the busy double BH week. Location is perfect as the road is right in the town too, so a couple of minute’s walk to all the shops, which are perfect for gifts on any budget, Including Cobble Corner that has a PO and anything else you might have forgotten to bring on your trip. I shopped in most of the them, and ate in the pubs, food and service was brilliant. Short drive to Sainsburys too, not a bad walk either as plenty to see on route. Such a pretty town and we got talking to locals who were so friendly, and offered advice too. We walked miles on the Coastal paths in both directions, also drove to many locations for more walking, we were surrounded by many beautiful places to visit, but my favourite place was visiting St. Michael’s Mount and it was right on the doorstep, it’s absolutely unique and stunning to look at but when you visit, it’s even more beautiful. Parking wasn’t a problem for us we got a space every day we came back. We had the best time ever on our first visit to Cornwall, saw some beautiful places and am sorry to say I’d never heard of Marazion before I started searching for somewhere to stay, but am so glad to have found and visited there, as it’s somewhere I would definitely visit again. Having the great location and such a spotlessly clean and homely apartment to come back to, made our stay just perfect. Thank you Lorraine and Mark for being the perfect hosts and making us so comfortable. We wish you every success x

Schöne Wohnung, schöne Gegend....ein toller Urlaub!

Ich habe in dieser Wohnung 2 super schöne Wochen verbracht. Die Wohnung war super sauber und Lorraine war einfach zauberhaft. Es fehlte in dieser Unterkunft an nichts, alles was man im Haushalt benötigt, ist vorhanden. Sie liegt in einer ruhigen Gegend, füssläufig zum Morrisons Supermarkt. Nur wenige Gehminuten entfernt ist der Strand, der South West Coast Path und die Sehenswürdigkeit St. Michael Mount. Ich habe den Aufenthalt sehr genossen und kann die Wohnung uneingeschränkt empfehlen...von mir gibt es fünf Sterne (five Stars) und den Daumen hoch!👍 thumps up

Two weeks of joy.

Lorraine couldn't have been nicer and more welcoming. The apartments photos don't do it justice. It is way bigger and a true home from home. The lovely views of the sea and sunset every night after touring Cornwall was so relaxing. We will be back. Thank you Lorraine.
