The apartment wasn't horrible. It was DEPLORABLE! Plaster falling off ceiling hit on the head on our way in the door. Condescending guest book: "empty garbage or pay 20 euros. But empty only noon-2 and 9p-11p! (Of course no garvage bags provided.) Enjoy the complex pool....pay for towels and a pool chair.....at the pool! We had pre-arranged parking in advance at unit at 15 euros a day....oh well no space too bad. Paid 30 euros a day around the corner. NOTHING EVEN CLOSE to any pictures provided on this website. Old blankets all over furniture with threat if removed! We are just one couple/2 persons but rented highest level "Premium Plus" 2 bedroom. Called right away on entry and told sinply by "Vincemte" that guest book was clear and that "we are not responsible", apparently for anything. WOW! Make sure if you ever reserve an apartment with them you demand full pics of your actual unit while you remain within your 24 hour cancel.period AND PRINT THEM ALL OUT! Once you read the guest book on entry you may also just drop dead: EXAMPLE "its an old building and walls are very thin so please wear slippers only when there." TrIed to work safe and it wouldnt work with code provided in guest book. Was informed the code written was wrong...really? A NIGHTMARE from start to finish. Dont walk....run! Marbella is truly magical but if you have to stay here youre far better off staying at home. Even if home is Iraq.

It was not highlighted in advance that the apartment is directly above an Irish pub. The first night the noise from the pub kept us awake till 3am. Otherwise the apartment was ok.

Very disappointing appearance on the landing to our room was covered in plastic & cardboard. Giving a very dirty appearance. This was because they were going to paint the walls. This didn’t happen during our week. The man who checked us in was less than helpful, when we asked if we had evening sun on our apartment he said he didn’t know. The directions to our room was vague. During our week there we had to redirect two different families. To make up for the lack of English they should have a simple A4 room lay out. We were waiting for our bins to be empty up to Wednesday so it would be collected by the cleaning staff. We spoke to the manager and we would get no room cleaning as we were only staying. He told us to bring the rubbish to bins outside the hotel. On tle plus SIDE. He gave us a change of towels and replaced rubbish bags. GREAT points, when we arrived on Sunday there was milk, water, tea & coffee for us. Theres a lovely view of the sea, there are ample tv stations, good free Wyfi also lots of books and videos to watch. Everything you need in the apartment you need for cleaning. Would we go again, YES

Overpriced and uncomfortable

The SKOL is an older property in Marbella but has a great location on the beach. Because it's older it has its charms but also needs upkeep. We selected a deluxe plus apartment with a sea view. We had a small slice of sea view but primarily looked out over the balconies of an adjacent building. Our unit had been "modernized." The kitchen and bathroom were nice but the living room was finished with very uncomfortable furniture and our balcony had only flimsy plastic chairs with rusted metal stools and no table we could use as we saw across from us. It was not a comfortable place to "hang out." The part that really bothered us however was the price. We paid much more than other renters in the building who had nicer units and longer stays. If I stayed here again, I would research other websites, primarily British, to get a better price and nicer unit or find a nicer complex near the SKOL.

Good location

The flat number 330 was great but my friend also booked in and had a disappointing experience as it wasn’t as advertised - not 2 proper bedrooms but one double bedroom and 2 very small singles with bunk beds. As you can’t see the exact flat you are renting through the website because an agency looks after many in the building be careful about the actual flat you are booking and speak to someone first if possible.
