Built by Mr. Whitehouse and lovingly restored by its current owners, this home blends timeless character with thoughtful modern updates. Just a short stroll to the river, forest trails and the local supermarket, it’s the perfect base for couples or small families looking to enjoy everything this charming town has to offer.
From the original jarrah floors to the cosy verandah overlooking the garden, every detail invites you to relax and unwind. Modern comfort meets vintage charm in this peaceful retreat surrounded by the natural beauty of the region.

The Space
This two-bedroom, one-bathroom cottage has been thoughtfully brought back to life with great care and attention. Inside, the warm glow of the polished jarrah floors sets the tone for a homely stay. Both spacious bedrooms feature comfortable king-size beds. A third room can be used as a playroom or quiet retreat, ideal for families.

The open-plan living area is small yet welcoming, with a fully equipped kitchen including a dishwasher, oven, stove and microwave. A Smart TV and reverse cycle air-conditioning ensure comfort in every season, whether you’re unwinding after a day exploring the nearby wineries or keeping cosy on a winter’s evening.
The new bathroom features a modern shower and toilet, and there’s also a separate second toilet near the laundry for convenience. A laundry nook is fitted with both a washing machine and dryer for guest use.
Outside, enjoy your morning coffee or an evening drink on the verandah. The BBQ area offers seating around for long, lazy evenings under the glow of festive outdoor lights.

Extra fees: Cleaning Fee: While we charge a cleaning fee, we still expect our guests to leave the house in a neat & tidy condition on departure and follow our check-out instructions including washing all dishes and removing rubbish to outside bins etc. Credit Card Fees: 1.75% credit card fees apply for domestic VISA, Mastercard & EFTPOS, 3.50% for international VISA, Mastercard & EFTPOS and 3% for AMEX.
