Once you see this breathtaking landscape, you won’t want to leave. Our cabin is the perfect mix of charm and convenience. Our bright, modern cabin is the perfect mix of charm and convenience as it offers WiFi, Smart TV, an expansive covered front porch, back deck space with a grill, picturesque mountain and pond views, sounds of the nearby rushing creek, and a fire pit. You will be an easy 15 min drive to quaint downtown Mars Hill, 20 min to lovely Weaverville, 30 min to downtown Asheville, NC, Burnsville, NC & Erwin, TN, and 40 min to Johnson City, TN. Skiing, water tubing and golf are only minutes away at Wolf Laurel. What are you waiting for? The mountains are calling you!

We have intentionally stocked Albee Ridge Cabin with everything you need for a peaceful respite. Whether you want a cozy home base for the myriad of explorations that await you or a complete getaway from everyday stressors where you don’t have to leave our property at all, we have created this special place with you in mind. We have curated inspirational books, cookbooks, craft supplies, cards, and board games for adults and children. Slow down to just the right pace for you, enjoy this idyllic mountain setting, and feel uplifted in this lovely cabin.


The Area:

You will enjoy the numerous nearby towns and activities when you are ready to venture out:

*Asheville - it’s no wonder Asheville has topped lists of small cities to visit for years now. It has some of the most amazing restaurants in the country, was at the forefront of farm to table dining and local artisan shops, showcases a beautiful, historic downtown, invites visitors into artist studios, and is home to the Biltmore Estate and gardens. From our cabin, it’s an easy 30 minute drive to downtown Asheville.

*Mars Hill and Marshall - Step back in time in these quaint neighboring towns a short drive away. Mars Hill and Marshall offer delicious dining, breweries and shops with river and mountain views, on sweet main streets that invite you to slow down and stroll.

*Weaverville - Enjoy bungalow-lined streets, delicious coffee shops and bakeries, and lovely parks just a short drive away.

*Lamar Alexander Rocky Fork State Park - Just over the Tennessee border, explore the most beautiful hiking trails, fishing spots and swimming holes.

*Erwin, Tennessee - After hiking at Rocky Fork State Park, drive down the road to Erwin’s small main street for coffee, antiques and an old-fashioned drive through (Pal’s).

*Hot Springs - Known for its natural hot springs, the small town and resort of Hot Springs are local favorites!

*Burnsville - This small, artsy town sits in the valley of stunning mountain scenery. Enjoy visiting its restaurants, breweries, artisan shops and hiking trails

*Blue Ridge Parkway - When you drive onto the Blue Ridge Parkway, you’ll feel like you’re a world away from your cares. This historic scenic drive highlights the area’s most stunning views and offers numerous hiking trails. You can easily spend a full blissful day or two going either direction on the parkway.

*Hendersonville & Flat Rock - 45-60 minutes away, Hendersonville and neighboring Flat Rock provide a fantastic day trip of dining, exploring the Carl Sandburg House (& goats!) and hiking trails, apple orchards, wineries, and lovely parks in which to meander.

*Brevard - One hour away, another delightful small town known for its array of waterfall hikes (stop at Flat Rock Wood Kitchen in Flat Rock for a top notch meal on your way in or out).

We will leave guides for you of some of our favorite outings! However, rest assured many of you will feel content to stay snuggled up on the property.

****About our Cabins****

You are reserving a luxury vacation cabin with Pristine Vacation Rentals, the top vacation rental company in the area with 100% customer satisfaction and five star reviews across the board from VRBO, Flipkey etc…A few days prior to your arrival you will receive the cabins address, check-in/check-out instructions, door entry codes, wifi codes, house and property information as well as local suggestions of things to experience. If you reserved the property directly from our website you will receive this information in an email. If reserved the property through a third party platform such as VRBO, Flip Key, etc... They will provide you with this information. When reserved through VRBO the information will be sent to you the message thread where you booked the property and received your reservation confirmation message as well. Please respect the neighbors and clean up after yourselves.

GUESTS ARE EMAILED CODE TO ACCESS, DRIVING DIRECTIONS AND INFORMATION REGARDING THE PROPERTY. PRIOR TO ARRIVAL, NO OFFICE VISIT TO PICK UP KEYS!

DOG fees are extra and NONREFUNDABLE The pet fee $100 is per pet per stay or $109.75 with taxes included. i.e. Any length stays with two dogs equals two pet fees plus taxes which is $219.50. Maximum of TWO dogs!! More than two dogs constitutes prior approval by the homeowner and Pristine Vacation Rentals. DOGS ONLY allowed! No cats, bunnies, birds, or any other animals allowed unless approved by homeowner and Pristine Vacation Rentals.

The following essentials will be provided for you to START your stay. We do not provide essential for your entire stay. This is just to start you off:

*Dish Pods
*Coffee Maker
*Hand Soaps

*New Sponge
*Small Laundry Detergent
*Full Propane tank for gas grills

Also feel free to use any of the spices, sugar, creamers etc… that are generally stocked in the fully equipped kitchen.


This is a SMOKE FREE environment! Please don't smoke in the cabin. If you choose to smoke outside please dispose of your cigarette butts.

PHONE SERVICE: Cell phone reception is generally good, but it can be spotty at times. We are in the mountains.

CHILDREN: This house is not child-proofed for young children. There are also no accommodations for babies.

SUPPLIES: Groceries and supplies are available within 5 to 10 miles, but we suggest guests bring what they may need for immediate use so they can stay and relax on the property for their first meals, if so desired.

FIRES: Guests are welcome to use the fire pit year-round. However, we do not provide firewood. You can purchase this at many of the local convenience stations, local grocery stores or Walmart. It's generally around $5 per bundle.

NO SMOKING POLICY due to guest and owner allergies. You will be charged an extra cleaning fee of $200 if you smoke inside the cabin. If you smoke outside please dispose of your cigarette butts properly.

PLEASE NOTE: There are security cameras located by the front steps, one by the side door and one by the back door.

**Please Note: There is also a small general store called Wolf Provisions General Store. They have a small sandwich shop in there along with pretty much anything you would need during your stay.

Also, if you’re looking for some R&R outside of the cabin. There is another shop right beside of the general store, called Boundless Body. They offer facials, massages, Mani/ Pedis, Reiki and waxing.

As a guest of Inviting Mtn Retreat! Fire Pit+Grill~WiFi~Near AVL~ 3 Mins to Hatley Pointe! , you'll find barbecue grills, a garden, and laundry facilities. The front desk is open around the clock.
