The gite is a private converted coach house within the grounds of Maison Marie Ange, a turn of the century grand house Bed & Breakfast. It has 3 double bedrooms (one with ensuite shower and wc) A separate shower and wc, lounge, kitchen and terrace. The rustic charm of this former coach house is apparent throughout with whitewashed walls, brick ceilings and wide oak floorboards. Tastefully decorated with high quality furnishings and appliances. The kitchen has a gas hob, electric oven, fridge freezer, dishwasher, washing machine, coffee machine, microwave and tumble dryer. The spacious lounge has a flat screen tv, a wood burning stove and french doors leading out to a large partially covered, south facing terrace with sun loungers. The perfect place to relax after a busy day. There is a large garden area with enough space to kick a football or play garden games. Although the gite shares the garden of the main house, the rear terrace area and garden is completely private, fenced and not overlooked by the house. The property is enclosed by a garden wall and large gated access to the road so is safe for children and pets. Situated in the heart of the Limousin region of France, Marsac is a small yet lively village with a bakery, doctors surgery, garage, pharmacy, grocers and a train station. There is a restaurant and and a cafe a short stroll from the property. Marsac also has a biological natural open air swimming pool, open during school holidays, only 500m from the gite. A short drive away is local carp fishing lake where permits can be arranged on a daily basis. There are numerous biking and hiking trails leading from the property and many swimming lakes with family friendly beach areas and canoe hire. A perfect place to come enjoy a relaxing family holiday in the most unspoilt area of France.
