A visit to Pagnol Country

Peaceful Provençal Paradise

A delightful and well appointed two bedroom apartment unobtrusively adjacent to the owners property. Two patio/terraces at your disposal to chase the sun or find the shade; with a pool to cool off. Bernard was a charming and helpful host, with tips and recommendations for local and nearby attractions and places to visit.

We liked it so much last year, we returned!

The only thing to add from our review from last year is that we checked in for a bit longer this time. Quiet and picturesque location up in Les Baraques was ideal for a combined work and holiday trip. Bernard and Christine are lovely hosts and aa others have observed the property is ideally located for visits to costal and inland Provence. Marseille is close by (25 minutes) and we were lucky to get tickets for a stunning performance of the 25 anniversary tour of the hit musical Notre Dame de Paris at the Marseille Dôme.

Calme, confort et volupté

Très beau gite, bien soigné, bien aménagé. Fond de cuisine exceptionnel, toutes les installations fonctionnelles. Très jolies terrasses. Propreté impeccable. Et par dessus tout l’accueil remarquable et la disponibilité de Bernard qui s’est avéré un guide touristique avisé et des plus précieux. Séjour compliqué

Emplacement de la maison agréable dans un secteur très calme. Notre séjour a été marqué malheureusement par des morsures/piqures d'acariens ou d'insectes très rapidement pour toute la famille. Même si l'hôte a été réactif ( intervention d'une entreprise spécialisé le lendemain du signalement) et dans un premier temps à l'écoute, le mâl était fait… Piqûres sur les jambes et le dos et cette envie constante de se gratter tout au long du séjour. Des excuses timides/gênés de l'hôte et beaucoup d'incompréhension de sa part. Aucun remboursement/compensation proposé, pas même le remboursement d'un bombe antiacariens acheté dans un premier temps par nos soins, nous avons eu le droit à une consultation d'un proche de l'hôte professionnel de santé et de passage dans la région 3 jours avant notre départ qui a constaté des piqures/morsures sans identifier exactement ce que c'était. La seule chose identifié et évidente était que plus de 150 morsures/piqûres présentent sur le corps n'étaient pas celles de moustiques. Bien évidemment, nous ne procèderons plus à une réservation dans ce lieu et ne recommandons pas. L'hôte est responsable du lieu qu'il met en location. Au prix de la réservation, ce genre de problème ne doit pas exister et nos corps restent encore marqués et un préjudice réel est présent ( photos/certificats médicaux à l'appui).

Magnifique séjour au paradis des oliviers!

Mon mari, ma fille et moi avons adoré notre séjour chez Bernard! Le gîte est muni de tout ce dont nous avions besoin, et il est décoré avec goût. Nous avons bien profité de la piscine, située sur une terrasse avec une vue spectaculaire sur le Garlaban et sur des champs d'oliviers. L'emplacement du gîte est idéal pour ceux souhaitant visiter Cassis, Marseille, La Ciotat, Aix, Bandol...toutes des destinations qui sont à 20-30 mins maximum. Quel plaisir de faire tous ces "day trips" pendant notre séjour et de revenir en fin de journée dans cet endroit calme, magnifique, paisible....merci Bernard pour toutes vos recommandations. Nous reviendrons sans hésitation.

Fantastisch

Lage und Objekt sind wunderbar, die Wohnung ist modern und sehr geschmackvoll eingerichtet, es fehlt an nichts. Bernard ist ein freundlicher, umsichtiger Gastgeber. Das Grundstück hat eine tolle Atmosphäre. Die Zufahrt ist etwas abenteuerlich, aber dafür wird man absolut belohnt. Jederzeit gerne wieder!

Gîte au calme

La situation et la tranquillité du gîte nous ont beaucoup plu. À la fois proche de Marseille mais aussi des collines c'est un endroit idéal pour partir se promener. Le gîte est très propre, le propriétaire accueillant.

Super schöner Kurzurlaub

Wir hatten einen super schönen Kurzurlaub zu viert in der Unterkunft. Im Haus war alles, was man braucht vorhanden. Besonderes Highlight war der Pool sowie die große Terrasse mit der Planchera. Toll war auch, dass jedes der beiden Schlafzimmer direkt an ein Bad angebunden war. Zudem hat die Unterkunft einen sehr schönen Ausblick auf die Berge und bietet viele traumhafte Ausflugsmöglichkeiten. Bernard war zudem einer super Gastgeber, immer sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit. Traumhaft

Wir verbrachten zwei wunderschöne und erholsame Wochen in diesem Haus. Ein sehr schöner Pool mit traumhafter Aussicht. Ausflugsziele wie die Calanques, Marseille, Aix-en-Provence, Cassis, Bandol in Kürze zu erreichen. Die Schlafzimmer und Bäder sind sehr schön und geräumig. Wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt und können diese Unterkunft sehr empfehlen. Bernard ist ein sehr netter Gastgeber. Wunderschönes Häuschen, tolle Lage

Das Häuschen ist wie beschrieben, liegt am Ende einer hügeligen Sackgasse, sehr ruhig. Wir haben uns dort sehr wohl gefühlt. Die Kinder hatten viel Spaß im Pool. Bernard ist ein sehr netter Gastgeber. Immer wieder gerne.

Des vacances merveilleuses

Zwei Wochen waren zu kurz. Es waren schöne Ferien in einer netten Wohnung mit zwei Schlafzimmern, zwei Bädern und einem Koch-/Wohn-/Essraum. Das Schwimmbad ist bei den sommerlichen Temperaturen angenehm und bietet dazu einen tollen Blick in die Ebene. Wir wurden sehr gastfreundlich aufgenommen und haben uns außerordentlich wohl gefühlt.

Ein wundervoller Fleck Erde. Mit Oliven- und Feigenbäumen im Garten. Das Haus ist liebevoll eingerichtet und läd zum gemütlichen Aufenthalt ein. Der Garten mit Pool und Petanque Platz war super für die Kinder. Absolut empfehlenswert ist ein Ausflug mit dem Elektroboot durch die Verdon Schlucht. Aber auch vieles andere hat die Umgebung zu bieten.

Sehr empfehlenswert

Wir hatten einen tollen Aufenthalt. Die Wohnung war perfekt für 2 Erwachsene und 2 Kinder. Es fehlte an nichts. Bernard kümmerte sich rührend und sah manchmal sogar Wünsche voraus. Die Lage in den Hügeln des Hinterlandes ist wunderschön. Die Straße zur Wohnung ist sehr eng und von nur einem Auto befahrbar. Es gibt aber immer mal wieder Ausweichmöglichkeiten, falls doch Gegenverkehr kommt und war mit unserem Kombi gut zu bewältigen. Wir liebten das schöne warme Schwimmbad mit dem tollen Blick in die Ebene. Einkaufsmöglichkeiten (Supermärkte, Sportladen, Wochenmarkt) befinden sich in der Nähe, kaum 5 Autominuten entfernt. Zum wunderschönen Sandstrand waren es ca. 20 Minuten, ebenso in die Metropole Marseille (für die Bernard wieder gute Tipps zum Parken und sightseeing bereit hielt). Leider durften wir nach einem Unfall unseres Kindes auch Bekanntschaft mit dem Krankenhaus in Aubagne machen. Dort wurden wir allerdings gut versorgt. Merci beaucoup et nous retournons!

Merveilleux endroit: un vrai coup de coeur!

L'appartement est très spacieux et bien équipé, avec un dehors exceptionnel: un parc privé et une piscine très charmants. Les propriétaires sont vraiment disponibles et gentils. Et en plus vous vous trouvez à mi-chemin entre des localités de tout intérêt: Marseille, Cassis, La Ciotat, Aix-en-Provence et, un peu plus loin, Arles, Avignon, La Camargue. Nous, on va surement y retourner!

Nous avons passé une excellente semaine dans cet appartement calme, très confortable et qui dispose de tout l'équipement nécessaire. Gilda et Bernard ont été très soucieux du bon déroulement de notre séjour et nous ont reservé un accueil chaleureux. La grande piscine, le jardin boisé (avec ses petits écureuils !) et la merveilleuse terrasse avec vue sur le Garlaban nous ont enchantés ! Wunderbare Wohnung, schöner Garten, sehr freundliche Vermieter

Wir waren zu Viert in dieser entzückenden Wohnung und haben uns sofort zu Hause gefühlt. Genügend Platz, eine schöne Einrichtung (Modernes mit Altem gemischt) und eine dazugehörige separate Terrasse zeichnen diese Wohnung aus. Den überdachten Pool konnten unsere Kinder noch bis über Mitte Oktober hinaus nutzen. Die Vermieter sind sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit und wir konnten uns mit ihnen auch auf Deutsch (Gilda) oder Englisch (Bernard) verständigen. Das Haus befindet sich in Hanglage und ist über eine sehr schmale Straße zu erreichen. Es ist eine ländlich-ruhige Wohngegend - ideal für einen entspannten Urlaub.
