This oasis with its traditional Swedish red-and-white wood design will undoubtedly have you under its spell. The property features an old timber house (the original building from 1929) connected from the inside to the spacious main house (built in 1976), as well as a separate guest house, double carport and garage.

The property offers more than 200 m2 of living space. Entering the main house, you will be greeted by a spacious hall that extends into the dining area furnished in Gustavian style, overlooking the garden and pool area. Further in, step into the generous living room with its 4-meter-tall ceiling, 65’ large flatscreen TV, piano and fireplace. Here, you can enjoy a cup of tea by the fire, immerse yourself in a novel, or play family board games (available at the house).

Bordering the beautiful old-growth forest on the back side, you will find the spacious master bedroom with its kingsize bed, optional baby bed and en-suite bathroom equipped with both a bathtub and a separate shower. The main house also features two workstations and a spacious pantry equipped with all amenities for your culinary adventures.

From the dining area, you will access the charming original timber house (connected from the inside) where a fully equipped kitchen and cozy lounge area with additional fireplace are located on the ground floor. Upstairs, you will find a play area and separate junior bedroom with two single beds (full size 200 x 90 cm each) and view over the swimmingpool and garden.

Accessed from the kitchen, the house front features a covered South-facing terrace with a large dining table (up to 8 people) and Weber Bbq grill (Genesis Ii), where you may dine facing the garden and the beautiful fields ahead.

The separate guesthouse offers full independence, and includes a bedroom with a queen-size bed, bathroom (WC and shower) and sauna (space for 3-4 persons). In the morning, walk out and plunge straight into the pool (6 x 4 m) for a refreshing dip!

Poolside, there is a covered bar and lounge area (with infrared heating) where you may enjoy breakfast or a drink in the sunset. The pooldeck also has an additional lounge area and sunbeds.

The more than 3000 m2 garden has swings and toys for the little ones, extra parking space, and various beautiful tree species including Japanese cherry, apple, peach, lilac and magnolia, as well as wild raspberries, blackcurrants and strawberries that you’re welcome to indulge in.

Behind the house, there is a vast stretch of old growth forest with trails where you may go for a run, a relaxing walk or mushroom/berry picking. In the summer season (July-August), you will find summer chanterelles, blueberries and wild strawberries. In the autumn, (September-November), you will find an abundance of mushroom delicacies including black trumpet, funnel-shaped chanterelles, yellow chanterelles and white thorn fungus.

The property is located only 12 min from Arlanda airport, 35 min from Stockholm city , 30 min from Uppsala and 25 min from Sigtuna (a charming seaside town which used to be Sweden’s first capital city in the Viking era).

For groceries, there is a shop (Ica Lunda Livs) located just a 2 minute drive or 10 minute bicycle ride from the house. The city of Märsta (15 minute drive) offers multiple large food stores as well as other forms of shopping.

In terms of nearby restaurants, we recommend paying a visit to stunning lakeside Rånäs Slott (Rånäs Castle) for lunch, dinner or afternoon tea. Alternatively, experience dining at Båthuset in Sigtuna, an old wooden house on the waterfront which offers exquisite fine dining with local produce at a reasonable cost.

For the avids of golf, Skepptuna Golf Club is located just 10 minutes away.

As the property is located near Stockholm, Uppsala and Sigtuna, there are endless options for excursions and cultural activities.
