Very cool place and located near lots of shops and restaurants, with amazing views. And i want to give a special shout out to the front desk who were very accommodating and even helped us book a tour of the city. I would highly recommend anyone stay here!

Magical visit to Matera

Family Vacation in Italy

Enjoyed our one night stay in the cave hotel. Fun experience with our family to spend night in a cave hotel. Ideal location for seeing sights of the old city and step away from amazing views and many options for restaurants. Breakfast was good. Parking is a bit far (still a manageable walk with our luggage); however the area is a no driving zone, which they notify you in booking.

Great location, spacious rooms

Beautiful hotel located in the oldest part of town, right among the Sassi. The rooms were spacious, cleans, and cozy. You can only reach it by taxi or by walking as the area is completely closed to traffic.

Just by the James Bond plaza, really close to restaurants and sites to visit. All advertising is of cave rooms which we were totally disappointed when shown to a pretty basic room with rubbish air on. Manager was extremely helpful and luckily we got a cave room for the 2nd night. Double check what you’ve booked, standard is not a cave
