First and foremost, every staff member gave such a welcoming vibe. From reception, concierge, garage, and all other staff, they were friendly and their willingness to help really created great impressions throughout the stay. The double room I shared with my cousin was also great to walk into. The two beds (I think queens) were comfortable and felt fresh. There was also the extra lounging space with a panoramic view of the city. The window opens up to let in fresh air if you want some. The area is very close to Lleras so there is noise that goes on throughout the night, but between the bedroom and the extra room there is a sliding door. We never felt that we needed to close it, though and were still able to sleep fine. There is private parking below the hotel. There aren't many spaces for cars, but we only saw one other car a day or two during our stay. The Real restaurant had breakfast included in our rate. The food is delicious! A beef broth soup served daily, and two other dishes that rotate and always include at least one vegetarian option. Fresh fruit that rotates a couple selections daily. Breads, cereals, cheese and meat platter, salad, some pastries, and eggs your way. The omelets... so good. The gym has variety and plenty of equipment. It does get busy in the morning, but we still had no problem working out. And the Envy rooftop area was relaxing and the staff was attentive. Overall, it was a great decision to come here.

The location is great and the rooftop club with pool is fancy. But the breakfast is average and they don’t allow guests at all, which conflicts with their advertisements. I chose a room with a lounge area with couches and seats for at least five people (and the photos of the room on Hotels.com showed this) because I have friends in the city and wanted to invite them for a cocktail before going out. This was forbidden. But it is a cool place.

El hotel como tal es muy lindo pero los sobrecargos extras al hacer el check out no son justos. Eso al principio no lo explican cuando hay que hacer el check in. Algunas personas del hotel muy serias y poco amables. Mas empatía con los extranjeros y cuando alguien pide un servicio como objeto de uso personal no lo llevan a la habitación. Les falta trabajar mucho en el servicio al cliente.

This message concerns my recent stay at The Charlee Hotel in Medellín, Colombia. I was required to leave the property earlier than planned after contracting Covid-19. At the time of departure, the front desk manager assured me that I would receive a refund for my final night. However, Expedia has informed me that they have been unable to reach anyone at the hotel who will honor this commitment. I kindly request that the refund for the unused night be processed as promised.

The location of the hotel was excellent. It was very trendy and hip with a great rooftop bar. The food was very good, I enjoyed the daily breakfast. The staff was beyond friendly and helpful. I would definitely return!

Overall we enjoyed our stay, but had a bit of a rough start since our rooms were not ready at the check-in time. The property is nice but not as well maintained as we expected for a five star hotel. We loved the hot tub in our room and the bed was super comfortable.
