It was a good hotel. But, twice after we checked in, a staff walked in to the room while we were resting. The room I guess wasn't completely ready because one of them brought us a missing towel. The number of shampoos & conditioners were few but we asked for more and they brought us. Be aware, they didn't explain that the coffee in the room wasn't included in the price and tried to charge us when we were checking out. But, they waived it when I said nobody explained this to us. Any drink or food at the hotel is extremely overpriced to food outside the hotel. We were gold member of Expedia but the only perk they offered out of all the perks was one free soda/coffee per person, not the room upgrade or the late checkout. The manager of the kitchen was the only geniunly nice person, the rest were just nice for tips

Luxurious hotel. My girlfriend and I reserved a suite. Very large room with a nice stand along bath tub. Amazing windows with a great view of the city.

The manager of this place is a complete inadequate to be quite honest. I had a situation with a taxi driver trying to scam me and the hotel manager was there pushing for me to go to the atm almost pushing me into danger. The taxi guy got aggressive and instead of attempting to de-escalate the situation he was laughing and making jokes with the taxi driver. Caught him at a couple points encouraging the driver to push me to become aggressive first. Honestly this set the mood for the rest of my interactions at the Viaggio. One of the front desk receptionist was also speaking out loud about my spending habits at the restaurant as If I was going to leave without paying.

The property was very quiet and clean. The people who worked there were nice but it was a little disappointing because we wanted to use the shuttle service to go to the airport but it was $45 USD and uber and Indrive only cost 15$ so we ended up using that instead.

I highly recommend staying at this property. The panoramic suite is so beautiful, you will have the best views of Medellin. The breakfast was great, they had lots of food options. The staff was approachable and always willing to answer our questions. They clean the rooms everyday and change the towels. The hotel is at a walkable distance from Lleras Park, Provenza and other restaurants, but what I like the most it’s that it was located at a quiet place, perfect for resting after a long day of activities. Wouldn’t hesitate to book here again during my next Medellín trip.
