The property was nice, but the staff needs to be more friendly and attentive. It’s a bit annoying to park there because you have to stop at the lobby, get a person to let you down each time instead of having key card access. The only thing you have to hold on to is your key card, and they charge you 20,000 col pesos if you lose it. Rooms are spacious and clean not too much noise which is good

Hidden Gem in MED. 5 Star Boutique, Resort Feel.

5 Star Luxury Hotel with a modern resort feel. First class staff, top flight facilities, excellent dining. I stayed here and at the Marriott Medellin in the same week, V Grand was half the price to 1/4 of the price per nights stay for 1 room (king size bed) than the Marriott… and V Grand boasted much more spacious rooms with 5 star resort finishes, and better city views. Excellent value and excellent staff.

I was traveling with a friend and had already made arrangements in a different hotel in the Laureles area. As soon as we checked in, we realized we needed to be closer to the Poblado, so we found this hotel, made the reservation on the fly, checked out of the other one and called an Uber. Very nice facilities, well decorated and very inviting. Very quiet area, tucked in and yet close to everything. We chose to take Uber everywhere, but it's definitely in a walkable location. The common areas and the room were very clean. All the staff, from the front desk, the bartenders, waiters, security, housekeeping and the concierge were excellent and very helpful. My friend even left her handbag in the Uber on our last night, and the staff went out of their way to help us (happy ending: the Uber driver came all the way from his home to return the item). Definitely recommended. ¡Muchas gracias Paisas!
