Megalong Valley, The Mill House

Ole ensimmäinen nauttimaan juuri uusitusta kiinteistöstä, joka on juuri asetettu listalle. Mill House on 17 hehtaarin kokoinen, ja se sijaitsee Megalong Valley -alueella, kauniilla 9 km: n ajomatkan päässä Blackheathin viehättävästä kylästä Upper Blue Mountainsissa ja 2 tunnin päässä Sydneyn.
Se on hahmoinen kaksikerroksinen mökki, joka soveltuu parhaiten kahdelle pariskunnalle tai pari yhdelle tai kahdelle lapselle. Tämä viihtyisä, tyylikkäästi sisustettu mökki tarjoaa kaiken tehdä muutaman päivän paeta mukava ja ikimuistoinen. Tunne kotona ruoanlaitto juhlaa isossa hyvin varustetussa keittiössä, kun taas perhe ja ystävät keskustelevat intiimin maalaismainen ruokapöytä.
2 minuutin kävelymatkan päässä avautuvista Megalong-teehuoneista ja 25 minuutin ajomatkan päässä Katoombaan ja kaikkiin nähtävyyksiin, Mill House tarjoaa täydellisen pakopaikan niille, jotka haluavat rentoutua tai tutustua laaksoon ja ympäröiviin alueisiin ja kaupunkeihin.

Brilliant country escape

An excellent property for 2 couples to relax in for the weekend with an event in Katoomba and a free Sunday in the mega long valley. Very well appointed house is luxurious & homely. Outdoor fireplace was perfect for a glass of local wine and a cheese plate. Great owner with excellent comms. Highly recommend.

Cosy and relaxing mini break at the Mill House

We enjoyed a relaxing stay in the Megalong Valley with the intention of a long lunch at Lot 101 farm to table restaurant and to test the scones at the Megalong Valley Tea rooms. Loved our stay at the Mill House which is well equipped and comfortable. We enjoyed sitting in front of the outside fire place and the home made slice kindly left for our enjoyment by our host Jill. Make sure you check out the Lot 101 restaurant, you won’t be disappointed. We also enjoyed the zig Zag railway steam train ride near Lithgow.

Perfect Escape!

The Mill House was the perfect escape! The property was stunning, and the house was cozy, quiet, and well-equipped, with plenty of outdoor space, including an outdoor fireplace for making homemade pizzas. There were plenty of things to do around the property and the local area. Jill and Mark were great hosts; they were easy to communicate with, and the early check-in/late check-out and delicious homemade hedgehog slices on arrival were lovely. Thanks for having us!

Absolutely loved our stay at “The Mill House” in Megalong Valley. Excellent communication from the host Jill. The property and house are well maintained and very clean. Also beautifully styled with country charm. House has all the creature comforts you could ask for. Perfect for a family of four. Loved the outdoor fire place and we made use of the BBQ. Lots of sitting areas to make use of the views and relax in the sunshine or shade if you prefer. Kids loved the lawn games and exploring the property. Stunning views, easy walk to the cafe at the Megalong Tea House and a great quiet base for a blue mountains weekend away. Would highly recommend and can’t fault anything about our stay.

Ideal to kick back and relax. Away from the hustle and bustle but close enough if you want to be involved. Close to wineries and walking tracks. Plenty of space and games to keep the children occupied. Already planning a return visit.

Loved our stay

Peaceful oasis

We had a fabulous stay at the Mill House. This accommodation has everything you could possibly need for a relaxing stay. A fully equipped kitchen with all that you need, comfortable beds and so many choices of where to sit outside and relax. The outdoor fire was fantastic to relax with a glass of red and listen to music. Jill and Mark were lovely hosts and easy to correspond with. As others have mentioned, the welcome slice was well received as was the bottle of bubbles for my birthday. Such thoughtful touches to make you feel welcome. Thank you for allowing us to stay in the Mill House. We had a great time.

Peace and comfort

We absolutely loved The Mill House! Such a beautiful spot, pretty scenery, peaceful. We were welcomed with a yummy homemade slice waiting on the kitchen table, a lovely touch. The hosts have thought of everything to make it an enjoyable and comfortable stay, from board games, outdoor games, books, DVDs, a very well equipped kitchen, so many varieties of tea, heating and the outdoor fireplace was a hit, and with it all ready to just light up! We will be back!

Wonderful getaway for the family

We've stayed at Mill House several times now and I find it the perfect stay for our family to unwind and enjoy the peaceful surroundings. The house is immaculately presented, clean and comfortable for us. We also enjoy playing the games available and especially the outside fireplace which is always a hit with the kids. Jill is a wonderful host and we look forward to staying again in future.
