I stayed here with my bridesmaids the night before my wedding and it was honestly magical. The hotel and the surrounding views were absolutely stunning, it felt like we were tucked away in the most beautiful little corner of the world. The staff went above and beyond to make our stay special, even giving us the best seats in the restaurant with a gorgeous view. We were able to spot kangaroos right from our room too, which made the whole experience feel so fun and serene. There were so many emotions the night before the big day, but being in such a peaceful, beautiful place made everything feel calm and meaningful. I’d go back in a heartbeat, this place will always hold a special spot in my heart.

Non existence service or regard for your particular situation. While booking I did not realise that this winery could have rooms on higher levels too, the website does not mention that the rooms can be on higher floor with no access to lift. We had to drag our bags to the first floor and it was not something I wanted to do. But there was no other option or even empathy shown to understand that the knee injury could be aggravated. It’s an old building which has its own charm but the staircase is horrendous if you have bags. You go to the reception, via the restaurant, 3 stairs down then 3 stairs up and then via lounge you reach the horribly lit horrendous staircase. There were lots of cleaners who saw us struggling with the bags but just didn’t exchange an eye contact lest they got to help. I could have paid for a bell service if only they had one. Just bad inexperienced receptionist with long nails spoilt my mood and experience. I would have loved to have dinner at the restaurant but just didn’t want to engage with uncouth lady at the reception.

I liked the old world charm and quality fittings (marble very wide spa bath with gold taps) however some things looked worn. Breakfast was great and it was included in our tariff. Restaurant is not open everyday however that didn't matter to us.

Lovely old world property. Large, spacious rooms. Lots of lovely spots throughout the property to enjoy a wine or tea and scones. Think grand old bed and breakfast. If you want to be taken back to a simpler time with beautiful details, this is for you. Mod cons are not the go here but I can’t say I missed it. The staff were lovely. There is not much information in the room about the property so engage with the staff. Our room was refreshed on request during our 3 night stay. We had some issues with the in room safe. Staff were prompt to respond and very polite, engaging and funny. Dinner on site is a must! The formal dining room is beautiful and dinner is a class act. We were treated to a free tasting at the adjoining cellar door. A must do experience with passionate and lovely staff. All in all Chateau Yering is a lovely property that must be experienced. Do keep in mind you stay there specifically for the old world nature of the property. Highly recommend! Thank you to all the staff for their hospitality.

Great location for us to explore the area. Staff were exceptional. Restaurant amazing. The buildings and grounds look a little tired, rooms still fantastic. Had it been summer I would have been disappointed to find the swimming pool out of use while still being advertised as a feature.
