I know it says Budget but it was below standard, not even a hand towel, any glasses, iron/ironing board, terrible “breakfast”, noisy cramped room (and I was in the “superior” room.

This was the perfect place to stay in Melbourne! Close to the river, the train station, lots of food and shopping. Walkable to the QV markets and so many other places. And a great price! I wouldnt consider anywhere else next time I'm in melbourne

Good for solo travelers

It was not really clean and I had to re-clean the room when I arrived myself, there was a stain on the bed frame that could have been easily removed by the staff with a wipe for example or my bed sheets were marked with some black stains (it was not dirty, but they came like this I think from the "laundry factory" and could have been changed before my arrival with unstained ones. One of the lights near my bed frame was broken. I had to empty the trash myself as there were no "daily housekeeping" contrary to what was anounced on the webside. I understand that this hotel is budget friendly, but the price should not compromise the cleaniness of the place. However, it is a perfect room for solo travelers, very well located in the CBD, the front desk staff is lovely. They allowed me to stay on the premices until I had my flight back late at night so I am very lucky for that.
