Séjour juste parfait

Malte est une ile magnifique qui a gardé une certaine authenticité. Location parfaite, piscine et jardins magnifiques. Ray est un hôte très attentif au bien être des ses locataires et toujours à disposition pour rendre service. I don't know how highly I can praise this property, the location, the cleanliness, the owner! Everything was wonderful from the well kept pool and gardens to the kindness and helpfulness of Ray, our host. It was all perfect and I would highly recommend a stay here. Didn't want to return home. Entspannung in Städtischer ruhiger Atmosphäre

Sehr schönes sauberes Anwesen. Großzügiges Appartement mit guter Ausstattung. Bettwäsche sowie Handtücher sind ausreichend vorhanden. Die Gastgeber sind sehr freundlich und Hilfsbereit. Ray und seine Familie sind immer sehr freundlich. Tips für Ausflüge und Sehenswürdigkeiten auf Malta gibt Ray sehr gerne weiter. Der Pool sowie Poolbereich sind bis ca 17 Uhr Unter der Sonne Maltas. Eine Bushaltestelle ist in ca 500m fussläufig zu erreichen. Von dort aus ist Melliha sowie der Rest der Insel sehr gut zu erreichen. ( zu empfehlen ist die Tallija Card.) Wir waren als Familie mit unserer 3,5 Jahre alten Tochter dort. Vielen Dank an Ray und seine Frau. Wir waren ingesamt 12 Tage dort. Grüße aus Rlp

A restful return to Mellieha......

Lovely to stay with Ray and Maria again; we were last there thirty years ago when our children were small. Apartment 2 is comfortable and spacious and the pool deck is surrounded by palm trees! The weather was mixed so we caught up on Amazon and YouTube series some evenings. The Santa Maria Estate is a peaceful residential area a short walk away from Central Mellieha. We used the running track most days. We hope to return and thank Maria and Ray for sharing their lovely villa with us.

October Holiday

The property is a good size, has everything you would need for a weeks holiday self catering and was exceptionally clean. The area was perfect - close to the beach, restaurants and supermarkets. Everyone was very friendly and helpful. The area was also nice and quiet with lots of charm. Ray was extremely helpful and answered all our questions very quickly. We would love to return one day.

Excellent holiday apartment

We had a fantastic stay, the property was spotlessly clean with great facilities. Lovely and spacious and accurate to advert. Ray, our host was incredibly helpful, with advanced communication on our day of arrival and was on hand to help out with whatever we needed. He offered to drive us to the main supermarket on the day we arrived and to the bus stop with our cases on the day we were leaving. The apartment is in great location for exploring the north of the island and for catching boats to Gozo and Camino, great local bus service with a stop 8min walk from the apartment.

Look no further in Malta

My wife and I have stayed in numerous VRBO accommodations in the past decade or so. The host, Ray, and his wife, Maria, are simply the best hosts we have ever experienced. They helped us experience the culture of Malta. Since we did not rent a car, Ray arranged for a driver to pick us up at the airport. The driver, Frank Borg, met us and took us to the accommodations. He also agreed to pick us up for our return flight at 0400 on Sunday morning. The driver was dependable and very reasonably priced. Back to Ray. He drove us to the grocery store after our arrival and picked us up after we had finished our shopping. Later, he advised us on places to visit and things to do. He truly was dedicated to us having a wonderful experience in Malta. After we scheduled a hop-on-hop-off bus. Ray drove us to the pickup point. I asked him later if I could accompany him to the gas station and fill his car for him. He politely refused my offer and said that it was not necessary. He is a moral, caring man who goes above and beyond what is expected of a host. The accommodation was excellent, clean, comfortable and well-equipped. Having access to a pool was a benefit for us. There are numerous restaurants in the Mellieha area within a reasonable walking distance, although it is rather hilly. If we return to Malta, we certainly will stay here, thanks to Ray and Maria.

Incredible stay

We can only confirm the previous reviews that were of course also basis for our choice. The property was great and well maintained - Ray and Maria did a great job offering advice for trips around and less known beaches and in case of problems they were quick to respond. We are looking forward to coming back!

Great stay at Ray and Maria

The apartment is so much bigger than shown on the pictures. Our kids enjoyed the pool and the apartment is located in an area near to restaurants and shops. Also the beach is nearby. Ray and Maria are the perfect hosts! They welcomed us like their family and were always available if we “needed” them. If we come back to Malta we will definitely stay here again!

Peaceful comfortable and relaxing stay in a well maintained property eith lovely hosts

Beautiful property with good sized swimming pool set in palm tree lined terrace and gardens. Shady spacious flat. Very kind, friendly and helpful hosts who nade us feel very welcome and even helped us with our supermarket shop as we had no car! I woukd definitely return.

Ideal spot in Mellieha Heights

Light, clean and airy apartment with access to a very nice pool area. Walkable to cafes, bars and restaurants. There is a very well stocked supermarket about 15 minutes walk away. Ray is an excellent host, full of useful information and very interesting to talk with him. Check with him regarding the best beaches and places to see! We only had a very short stay here but enjoyed it very much.

Vacances à Malte

Très bon emplacement pour visiter Malte, nous avons profiter pleinement du pays sans passer beaucoup de temps en voiture. L'appartement de Ray est au sein d'une grande maison sur 3 niveaux, 3 appartements et au deuxième étage loge le couple des propriétaires qui sont très discrets et pour autant disponibles et sympathiques. La vue du balcon est magnifique sur la piscine et le fabuleux jardin. C'est une belle location où on se sent bien.

First visit to Malta!

We had a lovely stay at the apartment, Ray was very accommodating and was always available if we had any questions. On the first day he kindly took us to the supermarket and also arranged for a taxi to take us from/to the airport. If you have mobility issues then maybe this isn't the place for you as its quite hilly, this didn't bother us, plus the views are amazing. We loved the location as it was away from the noise and very relaxing. Highly recommend going to Sea View Cafe Mellieha, views are amazing! We will definitely be returning to Malta!

Erholung pur!

Die saubere, ruhige und schöne Anlage von Ray ist perfekt gelegen. Mit dem Bus kann man den Norden von Malta erkunden, ist schnell bei der Fähre nach Gozo und hat einen Direktbus nach Valetta. Ray ist stets höflich und hilfsbereit und hilft einem gerne bei der Urlaubsplanung. Am Pool kann man die Seele baumeln lassen und sogar das Meer sehen. Unsere Wohnung war deutlich größer als es auf den Fotos aussah. Der Balkon ebenso. Besonders praktisch war die Ausstattung in der Küche. Hier musste man nichts mehr besorgen. Wir hatten eine tolle Zeit auf Malta - danke dafür :)

40th Wedding Anniversary with the Hubby

Lovely villa in a quiet area. Pool area very clean. The owner Ray & his wife Maria were lovely & nothing was too much trouble for them. Ray took us in his car to the Supermarket on our first day. Would highly recommend & we will definitely be going back 😊
