Pale and soothing in an understated palette of dusky-sunset pink and sultry-stormy grey, Salt, designed for two, is inspired by the contemplative skies over salty seas of North Norfolk.

Ancient limed oak beams salvaged from neighbouring Sharrington Hall combine with bleached driftwood floors, salt-washed linens and the earthy appeal of natural timber and softly glazed ceramics.

Salt features an open plan living/kitchen with hand built kitchen and log burning stove and a romantic dining nook. There is a large double aspect bedroom with four-poster king size bed and large soaking tub. There is a separate en suite WC with oversized walk-in shower tiled in clay pink rustic tiles.

Salt is a restful bolthole after a sandy walk at Brancaster, a slow pint of Norfolk ale and lying on the beach stargazing at Salthouse.

Salt is one of the five Cartshed Cottages at Sharrington Hall which are both stylish and comfortable. A mix of vintage and contemporary furniture, oak floors and natural materials create a relaxed mood befitting the local North Norfolk environment. Each cottage is inspired by something that for us, exudes the essence of North Norfolk – Shell, Seal, Salt, Samphire and Sky. We offer special couple rates in all our cottages all year round, Sky and Shell are our dog-friendly cottages and we only accept children age 13 or over (no infants/babies).
