I question as to whether this was actually a high-end home.Upon first glance looks good even " high end" but once you sit down and look around you start to notice some things that are missing or just not right. The living room looks great with all of its decorative pillows, and clean shinny surfaces. But this does not make up for the fact that the coach and armchairs have seen better days, and both have so much give that they cave in when standing up from them. The primary shower was missing a light cover and had an exposed light bulb and electrical box, which did not seem all that safe. The stove hood which was to have two working bulbs had one burnt out and the other was not centered in the opening so again posed a safety issue with bare bulbs. I will also mention another safety issue regarding the outside light directly above the front door was burnt out, made for a very dark return to the home at night. When packing for a trip I did make sure to look for items that were included and did not pack them. For example, listed under properties amenities shampoo is listed, well it was if you count left overs from previous guests or a sample pouch that was opened used and put back in the vanity drawer. If it is not provided please don't list it!! Ice make was not working and we were not advised as to the fact. The kitchen supplies such as plates and cups etc. need adjusted and added to. Over all ok stay, work needs to be done to make this a "High End" stay.

We had a great stay here! The place was very clean and well-maintained, which made it feel comfortable right away. The location was perfect, close to multiple spots around Memphis, so getting around and finding things to do was super easy. Everything was simple to navigate, from check-in to getting in and out during our stay. Communication with the host was excellent, very responsive and helpful throughout. Overall, a really nice place and we’d definitely stay again!

The cleaning staff needs to do a more thorough cleaning (dishes, shower, and bedroom pillows). Dish soap should be provided, which would allow one to clean after they use each dish. Property Damage Protection fee should be refunded if no damage has occurred.

Great stay. As described in the listing. There was an issue with HVAC, owner was upfront and told us before our arrival. Things worked out and it was fixed early the next morning. Parking was ample and easy. Four adults and 1 teen stayed comfortably. Great spot!

This is a spacious home that is very conveniently located to downtown Memphis. There is a television in one of the three bedrooms, and a television located in the living room. All of the amenities are there for a comfortable stay. Parking is available in the front of the home and the garage was also made available.The host was very responsive. I would consider this location again.

The house was as pictured. It was very clean and fresh. The instructions were spot on. I appreciated the use of the garage. The only drawback was that I had to hunt for the garage door opener. I did find it in one of the kitchen drawers. I would stay there again when I'm in Memphis. Jesse C.

Took the family to TN for a wedding. So glad we found this house to stay in!! It was so beautiful and accomodating for our family of 6 (us and our 4 children, ages 10-17). The location was perfect, right near the river and the property was emacualte!!

Lovely stay on Mud Island

The neighborhood seemed safe and we liked being very close to Memphis but also able to escape to this quiet island. The Harbor town restaurants we tried were nice and walking along the Mississippi was pretty and relaxing.

Needs a good cleaning

The house overall was filthy and needs a good cleaning. We tried to overlook some of the dirt in order to enjoy our visit with family in Memphis. But as the days went on, we grew more uncomfortable. Simple things like the dirty kitchen sink drain, dirty water dispenser on the refrigerator, cobwebs in the bathroom, dirty living room chairs with worn armrests, the outside of the house with the living room screen leaning on the house, bricks laying on the ground, overgrown and dead landscape, etc. just to name a few. However, the final straw was when we stripped the bed on check out day only to see the most disgusting mattress ever!!! It was so horribly stained that we were mortified that we slept on that for 5 nights!!! We have pictures for proof. This house could be so much more if it was shown a little tlc. We were very dissatisfied with this rental. We are not ones to write a negative review, but we feel this one needs definite attention.

Quick stay in Memphis

The property was clean, and just as pictured. Had all the appliances we needed and supplies we needed. The location is in Harbor Town. Great neighborhood, easy to get sleep and plenty is space to cook for yourself should you choose to.

❤️Memphis and this property made my trip one to remember🤗🤗

Our stay was fantastic. We arrived on Thursday and the property manager was able to accommodate our early arrival. This trip to Memphis with our friends and our Beale Street experience was awesome and it was only minutes away from the property. With this being my first time ever utilizing Vrbo... I would definitely book a stay here again. Beautiful atmosphere minutes away from of all the festivities and events we attended. This was an experience that I just can’t stop talking about it. It was a fantastic weekend..

Perfect Family Retreat on Mud Island!

We had an amazing stay at this beautiful house on Mud Island in Memphis! It was the perfect space for our family of five to rest and relax. The home was comfortable, spacious, and well-equipped with everything we needed. The location was ideal for exploring Memphis, and we loved coming back to such a peaceful retreat after our adventures. Highly recommend for anyone looking for a fantastic base for their Memphis vacation!

Tennessee Tour

This is a well appointed home in a great neighbourhood. Minutes from a Mississippi view for spectacular sunset photos. There are a few restaurants 5 minutes away, we tried one called “Tugs” which was very good. Plenty of parking availability, garaged or street. Very easy drive to downtown for all the sights. The only downside, was the late provision of the check in information. We only received this one hour before check in, not ideal for International travellers who are relying upon public internet for their communication. All in, we enjoyed our stay at this property.

Great quiet location. Comfortable master bed (firm foundation with added pillow top softness). Decent place to stay if you can overlook a couple of things: One, the master bedroom carpet was filthy! Something had been spilled all over it. And the kitchen floor could have used a mop. Two, it was no where's near a high end property. Everything in this house from windows to cabinets, to flooring, to appliances and fixtures and lighting were builder grade. It doesn't make it bad, it was tasteful, but I did not appreciate the obvious deception. Lastly, the front door did not always lock.

CONVIENT AND BEAUTIFUL

I stayed at this property last year and loved it so much that I wanted to return. I told everyone how exceptional it was last year. This year, however, everything was great except the carpet was very very dirty. My daughter said even the carpets upstairs needed to be cleaned. I suggest that the carpets are shampooed before anyone else rents this property..
