This is a competant business hotel, if you don't need luxury thrills. The historic center of Metz is about 20 minutes walking away and WORTH visiting. What a great town to enjoy French hospitality and leasure culture.

Nice room overlooking the railway on the 2nd floor. Didn’t hear anything so good. Wi-Fi didn’t work and questionable stain on the carpet. Staff on reception very nice and helped with the Parking

Don't Hesitate, Book it!

Shopped all over the train station area, and I can easily recommend Campanile Metz as very good, inexpensive and literally next door to the train station. Our room faced the train station and we NEVER heard a train. You have to walk thru the train station to get to the restaurants, but Metz is a small town and this is not a big deal.

Cold room

My room was terribly cold. Thank God I had a woolen cardigan and woolen socks. Slept with double pyjamasesa and the woolen socks. After two nights I asked for another room, got a change. And was informed that they were renovating the heating system in some rooms, so it might not work then. So why let them renting, then? The breakfast was rather boring. But service good and the location excellent, right beside the railway station and and conference center.

On a du me changer de chambre car la première avait des appareils non fonctionnels. Personne ne m'accompagne pour s'assurer que la nouvelle chambre est ok. Je me retrouve avec une chambre bien plus petite, sans table de chevet ni support de salle de bain par exemple pour poser mes affaires. Les murs semblent peut isolés car la tv du voisin était bien plus passionnante que la mienne. Malheureusement le petit déjeuner, bien qu'offert n'est pas non plus à la hauteur, entre produit non disponible, on parle d'un thé earl grey....lait déjà sucré et peu de choix, j'aurai préféré payer et avoir un choix complet comme on l'attend dans un hôtel de ce standing. Aucun geste commercial pour le déclassement de chambre et aucune gestion des employés sur place. Quel dommage. Il aurait peut etre fallu reporter l'ouverture.
