5th floor was dark, dingy, smelled like a musty mold induced odor and it was so dated that it felt like a cheap motel from the 70's.
Front desk staff in the evening was very rude and unhelpful with wifi issues among other things and she was more concerned about texting and surfing on her phone than being professional and courteous to guests.
The room had a king bed which was ok, the tv was ok, the shower was hot, so the basics were covered however there was a horrible odor in the room which turned out to be from mold which was evident in some other areas of the room and all over the vent of the AC unit under the window. To add to that, there were huge cockroaches roaming, in the bathroom crawling over my stuff and the soap, etc and who knows where else. (i have photos)
Lastly, being right across the street from a strip club meant quite a few unsavoury characters roaming around the front area of the hotel, and in the hotel parking lot smoking pot and doing whatever with people in the cars which felt unsafe in the evenings.
i think Expedia got this wrong, the photos look ok online but is misrepresenting the reality of the situation beyond the lobby.
Sorry to be so direct but it is true. Needless to say, all of belongings went in the washer when i got home not to mention airing out and vacuuming my luggage for roaches. Fun stuff.
