Not very satisfied with stay

We had a family emergency and tried numerous times to call the hotel and sent a fax. We received no response from the hotel. When we finally made it to the hotel we found out the hotel was under construction and all of the phones were down in the hotel. This also meant if there was an issue in the room you could not call for assistance . Our tv did not work properly. The tissues in the bathroom were wet. Once we went downstairs the staff rectified what they could. The staff were a pleasure to deal with, but it was a very awkward stay. We paid alot of money for a hotel under construction and having this many issues

Best location, super clean room. It gets very noisy till 12am because of the music downstairs by the patio but if you don't mind the music, this is an excellent choice

It is a nice place with a cool restaurant/bar downstairs. The location is amazing. The rooms are spacious, which is unusual for the area and very nice. The downside is the bathroom, which was obviously designed by someone who enjoys watching their family members defecate, which is hard for most of us to understand.

It was crazy when we arrived at the motel. There was no parking at the motel for starters. The hotel sits very close to other hotels and restaurants around it. There was people walking and sitting everywhere along the front of the hotel and lots of cars. A lot of confusion. My friend dropped me off to go and check in. I had to walk past people eating to find the door that went into the front desk to check in. They told me we had to park in the garage around the block. So after circling the block a couple times we were able to get into the parking garage. Then we had to drag our luggage from the parking garage across the street, along the side walk, around to the front of the motel, through tons of people eating and milling around, up some steps to get back to the front office. It was not fun. Then they told us our room was not ready yet and it was four o’clock by then and that was check in time. So we had to sit and wait to get into our room. Our room turned out to be set up for someone with a handicap. I went back down to the front desk to see if we could up grade to another room and they said the hotel was booked so they had no other room available. Our room was also located right next to loud music and people who were talking and laughing into the night. For an older couple this was not what we wanted. I would never want to stay in this hotel again.

Very Disappointing!

This hotel advertised Ocean FRONT with a balcony on hotels.com - we booked an Ocean FRONT room. When we checked in they put us in an Ocean VIEW with a balcony. When I talked to front desk they said they didn't have any Ocean FRONT available although that is what we paid for and booked. They refused to do anything about it.

Great location for Miami Beach. Place is pleasant. Rooms are a little tired though and some updating is needed. Staff friendly and helpful. Great location for food and entertainment as well. Even if it's just watching the exuberant locals!
