Charming Villa With Beautiful Views and Private Swimming Pool

Escape to an authentic, lovingly reformed farmhouse perched above the Costa del Sol — just 2 minutes' drive from the lively white village of Mijas, 7 km from the beaches, and yet a world away from everything.
The setting
The finca sits at the end of a private road with no through traffic, surrounded by its own 6,600 m² garden and embraced by protected natural parkland. The result is something increasingly rare: 100% privacy and complete peace. Children can roam and play freely, dogs are as welcome as their owners, and the only neighbours are the birds. Terraces wrap around the entire garden, each with its own view — and the sea views are simply stunning, from morning coffee to the last glass of wine at sunset.
The finca
This is not a modern build pretending to be rustic — it's the real thing. A traditional farmhouse full of charm and character, with cool tiled floors, thick walls that keep the summer heat out, and corners made for doing absolutely nothing. Inside: 3 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms, a fully equipped kitchen, free Wi-Fi throughout, and a washing machine for longer stays.
The pool
The heart of the property: a generous private pool (fully renovated in 2026) framed by mature gardens, with plenty of shaded areas — so there's always a cool spot for lounging, reading or a long Spanish lunch under the pergola. The gardens and pool are professionally maintained twice a week.

Good to know
Because the finca is embraced by nature, expect nature to visit: a few leaves in the pool between cleanings, geckos on the wall at dusk, and a private country road for the final stretch (any car manages fine — detailed arrival instructions provided). Due to steps and uneven terrain, the property is not suitable for guests with reduced mobility. If you're looking for a sterile resort experience, we're honestly not it. If you're looking for the real Andalusia — welcome home.

Please note: following the pool's 2026 renovation, a contractor defect means some floor tiles may come loose. Repair under warranty is scheduled after the season (November 2026). The pool is fully usable and checked twice weekly — we recommend swim shoes as a precaution, and we're happy to send current photos before you book.

What a beautiful finca it is. Breathtaking sea and hill views and a steep uphill but shortish walk into the centre of town. Pueblo Mijas is lovely.The finca itself is charming with plenty of equipment. The area itself is so quiet and relaxing.

Nice finca with great pool area. We absolutely loved the different terraces all over the property. Some minor things should be fixed like the shower upstairs, the hood and some tiles in the pool. Other than that, we sincerely had a great time in the finca and would for sure recommend it to other guests.

A lovely rustic finca in a great location. The pool and seating areas are first class. The steps and hill may be a problem for some but not us, and we are in our 60's!

Incredible finca. Stunning views of the surrounding area. Well equipped property. Cleanliness great for such a large area. Hosts and housekeeper Karin were easy to communicate with and attentive to any queries. Location is situated down several steep hills which leads onto a gravel track so dependent on your fitness, do be mindful of hiring a robust car, taxi, etc. Swimming pool was lovely and the whole garden surrounding the villa was pure heaven!

The finca is very peaceful and tranquil set right at the end of a very steep, narrow track. The drive down is not for the faint hearted!The house itself is comfortable and the pool is a good size but cold & could probably do with a little maintenance to replace damaged tiles. There’s a lot of going up and down steps, often without handrails and for this reason I don’t think the house is safe for children under 12. Views are absolutely picture postcard stunning and for that reason I would return.

Such a beautiful place. We stayed with our 1 year old baby and the place was perfect for us. We used the pool which is great. Had to clean it sometimes because there is no pool service at this house (but for the price you pay, doesn’t matter!) House is well stocked and nicely arranged. The yards of the property are amazing. The view from the terrace is Georgous. Loved everything about it. Just be ready for a country drive down to the house. Typical mountain road,Sometimes unpaved.

lovely property, perfect for a relaxing holiday. lots of steps to get around but well worth the effort! everything was clean and tidy and the pool was brilliant (just needs a bit of tlc). if you hire a car, make sure you get one that has a bit of welly to get up and down the steep track. the listing states it has an oven in the kitchen - it doesn’t have one but has a combination microwave - if it does have an oven we couldn’t find it! would definitely come again.

Finca in an adventurous and beautiful setting

We had a very nice stay in a well functioning house, with two small dogs the steep garden and many stairs were a challenge, but we knew already when booking. The pool area and the lounge area outside the upper entrance were beautiful. From the outset cleaning was somewhat lacking, seemed as if the house had been empty for a while since last cleaning, and smelly pillows well over due date, got new ones during our stay. Challenging access road, but well managed with a decent car, and a healthy walk, 20-30 minutes to Mijas Pueblo. All in all, we were happy staying in the house and consider renting it again in the summer.

Great Villa in Mijas with all the amenities that you need in Spain

We had a great time in the villa with our two teenager daughters and my in-laws. Check-in was great (thanks Karin) and the villa amenities were top - Air conditioning in every major rooms (5), chef kitchen and 3 patios to enjoy while cooking tapas on the nice propano bbq. The access to the villa is a bit rock and roll but at least you are the last house on the street. Scenic view on the sea and the Mijas mountains. Walking distance from the village (steep path to get back to the national road); the only downside is that the pool needs some tiles refresh. Other than that, it is a 10/10.

From the moment we booked we knew we'd made the right choice. Everything was so easy and Karin was an absolute superstar coming out to greet us and show us around etc she really made us feel welcome. The property itself is beautiful and huge!!! I didn't actually make it to every nook myself unfortunately but thats because i was too busy just stopping and taking everything in. Also as a horsey family and i myself working with horses imagine our surprise to discover there are horses on the property too and the owner is lovely as is his dog Bobo if youre lucky enough to meet him too. I met the groundsman too one morning and he's such a lovely man and he picked us the yummiest grapes (i never did get to thank him unfortunately). The property really is beautiful as are the views. It's a little over 6 euros with mijas taxis up to the pueblo but i always gave 10 and joked it was danger money due to the driveway which normally got a chuckle. I can't recommend this property enough and as an added bonus you'll come away with buns of steel they weren't joking about those steps!!!!

Beautiful Isolated Holiday Villa

This is a stunning large villa which is extremely private. It is very well equipped with everything provided, from air conditioning through to numerous glasses and plates, pots, pans, towels etc etc. Everything was very clean and small things thought of, such as providing gin and tonic for our enjoyment! The pool area is amazing, and also beautiful. The pool is large, the sun loungers are comfortable, there are lots of shaded areas as well as a parasol. The communication with the owner and then with Karin, the house keeper, was second to none. Karin was very very helpful and replied to queries quickly throughout the week. The only reason we didn’t give this 5 stars is that there are several extremely steep hills which the house is located at the bottom of. They are not all tarmaced and are narrow and windy. It is only half a km up to the main road, and we’re a fit family, but in 30+ degree sunshine, it was not enjoyable to climb! Plus the local taxi firm didn’t find the house until we emailed them a google maps image of where it is (we didn’t hire a car). Overall, we had a fabulous week stay. We’ve stayed in Mijas Pueblo before and love the place, we’d recommend a visit to anyone.

We had the most wonderful holiday! The villa is stunning and has everything you need. It was immaculately clean and the check in/check out process with Karin was really easy. Great communication all round. We stayed with two children (aged 7 and 9) and felt comfortable with the steps around the villa and down to the pool - though it might be harder with younger children. The only thing of note is the location at the bottom of the steep hill - it means the villa is really private and in a stunning setting, but getting into Mijas Pueblo would be challenging for some. We walked up twice on an evening and even at 7:30pm it was an extremely hot walk - though the kids managed it easier than we did! It is manageable if you’re fairly fit - and actually we could walk into the centre of Mijas Pueblo in around 30 minutes, even when taken slowly. But it wasn’t a particularly enjoyable first half of the walk in the heat. We eventually managed to work out how to get Mijas Taxis to pick us up with a little broken Spanish, and they were fab. We also got a taxi home every night (as I wouldn’t fancy walking down it in the dark with the kids). Half of the drivers were fine about the road, but half of them commented on it being a tricky drive and not on their usual access routes. However, I wouldn’t let it put you off booking, as the villa itself is perfect. We wouldn’t hesitate booking again - now we know how to navigate the taxis - and all four of us agreed it was the best we’d stayed in.

Gorgeous but Hilly!!

Great comms from Hans and Karin from start to finish - very friendly but professional. Karin met us in Mijas and we followed her to the villa, which was helpful. I was designated driver but could not drive the last quarter mile to the villa. The road is so steep and not fully made up. There is a road up to the front door of the house but I haven't seen a steeper road in the UK, and it is only partially concrete. The villa itself is lovely - a real home from home, nicely decorated with everything you need. Great air con in most rooms (our bedroom didn't work), really comfortable beds, tons of crockery, pans and utensils. Fabulous. The best views from the villa as well - you can see for miles!! There are brand new sunbeds round the pool, but no cushions - slightly uncomfortable when lying there all day like us! And no parasols, which in the severe heat was tough. The shade from the trees just wasn't enough, but the villa is nice and cool. We tried to walk into town a few times, but even at 7pm, the heat and the sheer steepness of the road made it virtually impossible. I know the taxis will come, but we weren't confident ringing them and being clear where to come. Overall, although there were pros and cons, we loved the place and loved our stay. Just go in knowing it's down a VERY steep slope. It's also 55 steps from the pool to the villa.

Wir hatten 10 Tage Aufenthalt in dieser schönen Villa und kommen auf jede Fall wieder. Es hat alles wunderbar geklappt. Vom ersten Kontakt bis zur Abreise. Das Haus liegt wunderbar ruhig und ist dennoch zentral für Ausflüge gelegen. Die Ausstattung des Hauses ist top, es ist alles vorhanden, was man für einen entspannten Urlaub in einem Ferienhaus braucht. Belinda und ihr Mann haben uns sehr freundlich empfangen und waren auch während des Aufenthalts für Fragen jederzeit erreichbar.

Eigenaren zeer gastvrij en ze kwamen na de meerdere malen stroomuitval (door harde wind en regen) direct kijken en het oplossen. Tevens was de afwasmachine kapot en daar is 2 dagen later meteen een nieuwe voor geinstalleerd. Prachtig huis (zwembad wel aan vernieuwing toe). Je moet wel rekening houden met het feit dat het huis nogal afgelegen ligt en dat je met een flinke stijle heuvel te maken hebt om er te komen/weg te komen. Al met al een heerlijk verblijf hier gehad.
