The custom built, Laurel Escape, is a luxury cabin that will give you all the privacy you need to leave the real world behind. The bedroom has a comfortable king size bed and the adjoining bathroom boasts a gorgeous tile shower.

Prepare your meals in the fully equipped kitchen with its stainless appliances and granite countertops and then retire to the screened porch to relax.

Outside you will find the hot tub, which is the perfect way to end your day.

Laurel Escape is centrally located to put you within 20 minutes of Blue Ridge, Georgia or Murphy, North Carolina, home of the new Harrah’s Cherokee Valley River Casino. Within half an hour, you can be in Tennessee, visiting the beautiful Ocoee River. Come visit Laurel Escape…we promise…you won’t be disappointed! Nearby attractions include hiking the beautiful trails of North Georgia, biking, Antique Shopping, White Water Rafting, Horseback Riding, Scenic Train Rides and the famous Swan Drive In. All of our cabins include linens, dishes, pots, pans, towels, washcloths, etc... We will provide an initial supply of guest soaps, toilet paper, dishwasher detergent, paper towels and trash bags.

Very cute, cozy, and charming little cabin. We appreciated the cleanliness of the property. It's not as large in size as the pictures show but it is large enough, also not as secluded as we thought which was fine. It's approximately 15 minutes into town. Lots to do in the Blue Ridge and Blairsville area. Eat breakfast at The Sawmill Place, hike to Brasstown Bald (see 4 states at one time), stop by Alexander's Everything Under the Sun for shopping, shop the town of Blue Ridge, take a train ride on the Blue Ridge Scenic Railway and have lunch on the river at Burra Burra and visit the stateline to stand in two places at one time (Georgia & Tennessee), stop by Sweet Emmaline's for cheesecakes that are heaven sent, and have dinner at Enrico's Italian Restaurant. The only thing I would recommend is a more comfy bed and a larger coffee pot. We had a wonderful time and will definitely visit again.

Doug and Veronica are the absolute best hosts!! The cabin is perfect & always exactly what we look forward to each year that we stay. Quiet & private, but a close drive to nearby Murphy and Blue Ridge. Our favorite place is in the hot tub at night, watching the stars. We can’t say enough good things about this place!
