I stayed one night. There could have easily been more an upgraded tech. On the radio, there were two USB ports, but a bit outdated an no USB C ports. Two ports for 2 people is not enough as I have hearing aids which must be charged every night, taking up one and I also need my computer, phone and watch charged. I was alone and nothing left for a possible traveling companion. The outlets were poor, the plugs fit very loosely into the outlets on the lamps. I just do not understand how some hotels have not addressed the number of items for which the average person or couple would need USB ports. It is such an inexpensive fix. The restaurant was not much, though I did get good food...mostly a bar which served food. However, this motel was convenient for me, and I would stay there again. It would take very little to make it a place I would really want to return to.

Parking was easy and convenient at this location. I also liked that the hotel was within walkable distance to a grocery store, dining options, shops, and a movie theater. What was a little annoying though was that the rooms did not have microwaves and the refrigerators weren't very cold. The 14th and 15th floors are key card access only in the elevators and one of the elevators would not let me get out on my floor despite having the access on my key card.

The pool is quite small and the hot tub wasn't much warmer than bath water, but with all of the children in there it's a good thing. The rest of the hotel was very nice and clean. The front desk crew were extremely professional, and very kind.

Why Charge for Water and Coffee?

It takes me down a bit when I stay at a nice hotel and they want to charge me for $2.50 for bottled water in my room and $3.50 for coffee in the lobby. I know it's not much, but they probably pay less than 50 cents for the water and how much can a cup of coffee really cost them? The staff was EXCELLANT and the room was very nice in every way. I just don't get them gouging me for a cup of coffee. I am going back to Minneaplois in a couple weeks and food a comparable room that includes coffee AND breakfast.
