The villa was lovely, well kitted out.we enjoyed the pool and the views. The garden and pool area were very private. The pool had a jet you could swim against. The local Spa shop was very well stocked, and the local restaurant was worth a visit and just a 2 min walk.

We had an excellent stay herr. Check in was seemless and detailed, apartment was well equipped, great layout, fantastic and well needed pool. Great location - the apartment is tucked behind gated golf course, so very safe, and 5 mins drive to the best beaches. Amadores beach recommended. All in all a lovely and relaxing stay i would recommend to anyone.

A wonderful week in a beautiful villa

Gorgeous, architect designed villa on an immaculate, exclusive estate. It has everything you need and is beautifully presented with the convenience of a fantastic on site restaurant and Spar supermarket. It’s a mile walk to the local beach so we would recommend a car and the pretty nearby town of Morgan is a must. Highly recommended.

Fantastic property

Gerard's villa is even better than it looks in the pictures - maintained to a really high standard and beautifully furnished. The location is great too, right on the south coast of the island, very close to a lovely beach and only a few minutes' drive from Puerto de Mogan. Gerard was very helpful and responsive and I would wholeheartedly recommend staying here.

An idyllic vacation !

This location could not have been better for our month long stay! Private but centrally located to meet all of our needs. We had a car and it would be a “must” if staying here for any period of time. The villa contained all amenities- 2 BBQ’s, a lovely pool, sunny garden areas and shaded outdoor areas! Spacious, clean and an exceptional host who promptly and happily responded to our very few needs. Would definitely recommend this stay!!! Thank you Gerard!!!

Great break away

Gerard, the Owner, was very accommodating with various date changes we had to make due to COVID restrictions. We had originally booked for 2020, 3 changes later and we arrived September 2022. The property had everything we needed. The outside space was amazing and we spent most of our time there. The neighbourhood was quiet and the onsite facilities offered everything we needed for a short break. 6 50+ ladies and we had a great time. We are now looking at dates for next year, to make it an annual event. Definitely recommend.

The photos are totally accurate, in fact the place is even better than the photos. So much space, although with the wonderful weather and beautiful outside space, we never even sat in the sitting room or ate inside! Really large bedrooms. The extra toilet in the main building is a bonus. Enough loungers & space outside for all 6 of us. Pool a perfect temperature. 20 minutes walk to the beach where there is a great bar - we didn’t go in the evening, I think it would be a difficult walk in the dark. Very well stocked Spar a few minutes from the villa. The on-site Tauro grill was great, we ate there 3 times, really fun live music on the Friday night. Very cheap taxis (we got them to pick us up from the Spar) - €3.80 for a six seater to Puerto Rico, but we had such a relaxing time by the pool we didn’t go out much at all. Gérard was a total gentleman and wonderful host. Absolutely recommended.

Very nice house, location and tenant

We had an excellent stay in this house. Garden, pool, kitchen and spacious bedrooms. Very calm and safe area and we hardly noticed our neighbors. The location is great with a restaurant and supermarket nearby. The beach is about 15-20 minutes walking and there are more restaurants there. With car it’s just 5 minutes to Puerto Rico with shopping, restaurants and more beach and sea. Gérard is a great and caring host and one of us received a nice birthday welcoming in addition to the extensive information package with tips and recommendations. We will definitely consider staying here again!

The bigger pool was a hit

We have stayed in two other properties on this complex and they are all incredibly similar. This is the only place we would stay in Gran Canaria the properties and communal facilities are exceptional. The restaurant Tauro Grill is fantastic and outstanding customer services. The views are breathtaking. The golf course is one of the best according to my hubby. As for the property we much preferred the larger pool at this property a definite plus and definitely made a difference to the children. Especially as communal pool was not heated and was colder than the sea. The property was lovely and clean and great views. The pool was meant to be heated but didn’t warm up for first few days which was slightly annoying. The bed in master bedroom was a bit frustrating as mattress kept slipping off the bed but minor niggles really great property.

Fabulous relaxing Holiday

Pictures do not do the property justice, it has a much larger feel. Area is lovely and generally quiet. I would recommend this villa to friends and family. You need a car but everything you need beach, shops restaurants are all 5-6 mins drive. Villa very comfortable, issue with hot water on arrival but sorted out quickly. Once we had settled in we had a Fabulous 2 week relaxing holiday, to which we were very grateful, in view of the last 2 years of lock down. Thank you for wonderful holiday we will be back sometime?

Absolutely 5*!!

Simply THE best villa holiday we have ever been on! Driving to the villa using the clear instructions from Gérard, we knew we had chosen the right place to stay. As we approached the Golf Course, the area was so peaceful and idyllic! The resort where the villa is situated is safe and secure, and has a Spar stocked with all the essentials you need. As well as this, there is a fab restaurant on site too, as well as a larger pool for public use. The villa is just as picturesque as the pictures show - if not more so! Every room of the villa was in perfect condition and the whole villa was light, airy and spotlessly clean. We loved how the bedrooms were separate from the main part of the villa for peace and privacy. You are not overlooked by neighbours at all. It may have been less busier than usual with us being there in December, but we couldn’t get over how quiet and peaceful it was in the villa! The garden was the perfect size and immaculately fringed with gorgeous plantations and palm trees. Views of the golf course and mountains all around - it simply is gorgeous! The sunsets in the evening were exceptional! The private pool is just fantastic! Not only is the size generous, Gérard heated it every day for us to a wonderful 28*! The pool never felt cold to enter, not even first thing in the morning, or on a cloudy day. The kids never wanted to come out of the pool! We didn’t try the other public pool on site during our holiday as we didn’t need to ~ we knew it wasn’t going to be as private (or as warm!) as the one in our villa! It was Christmas when we stayed and Gérard had not only dressed the outside of the villa with Christmas garlands, but dressed the dining table for a family Christmas meal, and had placed a beautiful Christmas tree in the main room for us, complete with twinkly lights! Other decorations adorned the villa and we felt very festive! Not only that, Gérard had kindly bought us champagne and chocolates as well as extra chocolates for the children as welcome Christmas gifts. These little touches just made us feel so special! I was travelling with my elderly Father and Gérard had gone to considerable effort to arrange a walking frame to be used by my Father during the holiday to make him feel more secure as he moved around and it was perfect for him. Gerard truly went above and beyond for us all and we are so grateful to him for such exceptional service and wonderful hospitality! We just can’t wait to return now!! :-)

Lovely Villa

We have stayed in another Villa identical to this one on the same development so we knew what to expect, and were not disappointed. These villas at Tauro are superbly designed, none of them overlooks any other and the entire patio and swimming pool area is completely private - and also gets a superb open view down the valley to the sea. And its worth noting that this villa has a larger swimming pool than the small ones in most of the other villas, and we made good use of it. Only slight issues we had were the water heater broke down on us more than once, I was able to reset it myself once I bought a screwdriver. I think its probably due for replacement. And a proper double bed in the main bedroom rather than 2 singles knocked against each other would be very nice.

Perfect location for young family

We travelled as a family of five (three young boys aged 9, 7 and 5) and we all had a fabulous time both in the pool(s) and at the beaches in the surrounding area. The ease of getting from place to place from this location is fantastic. Amadores beach only minutes away, as is Puerto Rico and less crowded, more natural beaches if that is your wish. Everyone enjoyed this holiday and it was only enhanced by the lovely accomodation which functioned very well for us. In fact in the end we only used two of the three bedrooms so all our sones could share one room, but this was easy to set up and given the that all the rooms were so spacious was easy to arrange. Overall would recommend this property and owner absolutely.

One of the best self catering places we have stayed in

A wonderful stay! Kitchen was well stocked, impeccably clean throughout, spacious property, garden was really well kept and a little tranquil haven with lovely views across to the sea and the mountains. The complex the villa is sited on was clean, quiet, and well lit at night. The on site grill restaurant was really good - excellent fillet steak. The staff there were really welcoming and great with our two little ones. The on site shop is a really well stocked Spa and we didn’t need to go anywhere else for any supplies as they had a good selection of everything you would need for a week. The only downside was the pool at the villa was cold as was the large pool within the complex. We braved each once but was too cold to stay in for long. The adults managed better than the kids - our two year old was frozen but our 4 year old manage about 20 mins before he was freezing. We went to the beach at Amadores which was great - really clean, lots of sunloungers, dozens of cafes and shops along the front and a big inflatable splash park which you could pay 20 euros for 45 minutes to use. The sea was actually warmer than the pools and my son had great fun playing in the sea. It was a five minute drive. There is a closer beach to the villa but my husband and son were keen to use the inflatable splash park at the Amadores beach. We also went for a walk in the national park in the north of the island, to Aqua land (again the water was so cold that the kids wouldn’t go in the pools but my son loved the huge slides you came down on inflatables) and Palmitos Park (wildlife park - best birds of prey display we’ve seen). We ate in El Churrasco (Argentinian restaurant) in Maspalomas on our last night which was fab and would recommend. We had a great holiday and wouldn’t be hesitate to recommend the villa. Gérard was also very responsive to emails with questions before we arrived and he very kindly arranged for 3 bottles of wine to be delivered to the villa when he found out it was my parents 40th wedding anniversary.

Even Better than expected!!

This villa is a dream! The pictures really don't do it justice. The pool is lovely and warm in July and perfect for small children and grown ups alike. The villa is well equiped with everything you could possibly need for a fantastic stay and the host Gerard is so helpful and amenable. I could not recommend this property enough.
