Eaglen sataman talo kukkulalla

Talo kukkulalla on täydellinen perheille, jotka etsivät rauhallista rentoutumispaikkaa Eagle Harborissa, Michiganissa. Talo kukkulalla on yksi harvoista ympäri vuoden sijaitsevien mökkien vuokrauksesta alueella. Mökki, joka on korkealla majakkaharjanteella, josta on näkymät satamaan, on vain lyhyen kävelymatkan päässä rannalta. Astu takakuistilla ja nauti kauniista näkymistä ympäröiville vuorille ja kuohuviinille satamavesille.

Suuri huone, suunniteltu yksityinen mökki, johon sisältyy yksi makuuhuone queen-vuode, avoin oleskelutila, parvi makuuhuone, upouusi - täysin varustettu keittiö, walk-in-close / kylpyhuone ja katettu edessä kuisti upeat näkymät. Tämä mökki on ihanteellinen lapsiperheelle, joka voi turvallisesti kiivetä tikkaita - lapset rakastavat parvi! Ei lemmikkejä.

Syksyvärit - USA Today on ilmoittanut, että Keweenaw on yksi parhaista paikoista Yhdysvalloissa nähdä laskuvärit. Syksyn värit ovat parhaat syyskuun lopulla lokakuun puolivälissä. Istu mökki kuistilla ja nauti väreistä.

Historialliset seikkailut
Keweenawin kansallinen historiallinen puisto - Kupari on muokannut ihmisiä ja paikkoja Keweenawin niemimaalla tuhansien vuosien ajan. 1840-luvulla täällä tapahtui ensimmäinen Yhdysvaltain mineraalikaivosreikä. Vaikka kaivokset ovat sittemmin sulkeneet, historia elää edelleen. Käy verkkosivustolla:

A Tasteful Place

This is a beautifully unadorned cabin in a remote location that provides you with the solitude you may seek [at least between seasons when we stayed]. The grand space, fireplace, and views are the paradigm of a classic cabin. In a world of fake, unembellished pure materials, furniture, and all accessories of this fully equipped place make it a true gem, just a short walk from the cliffs. We would love to came back for recharging our batteries. Thank you to this wonderful host for this rare tasteful experience.

Cozy cabin in the Keweenaw

Tastefully appointed cabin with updated open kitchen. We really appreciated the fireplace in the evening, the in-floor heating system, and the large entry/laundry area to store gear out of the way. The main bedroom is on the first floor, but twin beds in the loft require a climb up a steeply sloping ladder/steps. Great for kids, not so much for geezers, but we managed okay. Beautiful location overlooking the Eagle Harbor beach. We appreciated the solitude afforded by the off season but were glad that Eagle Harbor Inn was open for dinner on weekends (a two-block walk). Rodney, our host, was very responsive.

I felt so relaxed and at-home. The house had everything you could need. I was alone but I think it would be an ideal place to bring a family. The collection of board games was impressive.

Wonderful fall visit!

Very neat cabin in a beautiful area! The cabin is nicer than the pics show. It was very clean and comfy. We loved having crackling fires in the fireplace in the evenings. It is in a small neighborhood with one very close neighbor but it was very quiet and peaceful while we were there. We really had a great stay and hope to visit again in the future!

Just another day in paradise!

We enjoyed our stay very much. We live in a very rural area and were very pleased with the quite low key atmosphere of the town. Drove to Eagle River and Copper Harbor but the overlook just west of town was a favorite for sunsets!

Great Cottage in a Small Town

What a great way to enjoy the Copper Country!

What a comfortable home to get to spend time in. The modern kitchen and updated bathroom (thanks for a shower stall, so much easier to use!) contrasted nicely with the rustic decor. The bed was super comfortable, too. I love this location and can't wait to reserve it again.

A small but cozy cabin that suited our needs for recovery after long days of work on our friend's log home just east of Eagle Harbor. We liked the open floorplan and modern kitchen. We felt like we had the town to ourselves in late April.

The other reviews are accurate. Clean, well-appointed, convenient, spacious, and comfortable. Rodney responds immediately and is very helpful. Would definitely stay here again. FYI the switch for the counter/sink lights are on the back of the island…took us awhile to find them! That is not a complaint, just a tip. You will love this place.

Perfect

A Quiet, Relaxing Place

This was my second stay at this cottage; I love Eagle Harbor! Plenty of space, *awesome* kitchen, and natural light / fresh air from lots of windows. The heated floors were really nice for the colder evenings. Internet was slightly less stable than last year, but very functional overall. I was able to use WiFi calling for cellular needs, and HD video streaming was available most of the time. Also, Rodney is wonderful to work with if you have any issues at all. He responds very quickly and is friendly and easy to talk to. Highly recommended!

Delightful kittle cabin

This cabin is a cute little property we stumbled upon in our search for a little family getaway. The location is perfect for exploring different parts of the Keweenaw. From photos/memorabilia it appears its been in the family a long time and tastefully update over the years. We will definitely stay here again if its available for future trips.

Another Wonderful Trip

Great location, fabulous property...what more could you ask for? I have never been to Eagle Harbor so early in the year and I was pleasantly surprised by the attitudes of the local deer who made us feel like they were the rightful citizens of the village and we humans were just the insignificant intruders. Lol. But honestly, it was a great experience. Cabin is well-stocked with essentials, just BYOF (food). It was nice that the Eagle Harbor Inn was operational while we were there this time around. We normally get provisions in Houghton/Hancock or at the local Pat's in Calumet, but the second night there neither of us felt like cooking so the Inn was what we decided on. The pizza there was something to write home about (I am partial to the Lobster Pizza...YUM). The House on the Hill is has become somewhat of my "sweet spot" in these past years, and as always, we cannot wait to return.

Lovely beautiful space

Well, the Wi-Fi connection wasn’t the greatest, but I could let that go with all the amazing benefits of this place. So much light, beautiful windows, beautiful view, and nice open layout.
