The location is perfect! Staff is super nice and professional. A few remembered me from my last stay 🙂. Chef Martin/Marvin was super cool as usual. My only issue is, and as I said in my previous review, the towels NEED TO BE CHANGED! They are really bad. Other than that, my stay was really good

The hotel had some positives, including friendly staff, good food and having easy access to the beach was a big plus. However, the problems we experienced overshadowed the positives. The first room we were given was not suitable, and when we went to reception at 9 am the next morning, we were told to return at 12. Even then, we ended up waiting over four hours in the lobby before finally being allocated a different room. The new room had ants on and around the toilet which we reported immediately, but despite being told it would be dealt with, nothing was ever done.

Was actually at this resort during Hurricane Melissa. The staff was amazing. They provided service during the storm that went above and beyond. They continued to cook for us in spite of power outages and flooding. They stayed on hand putting guest’s priorities over their own. Highly recommend this resort as I will visit again.

No housekeeping was done but when you ask for amenities they are usually quick on getting them to you. Very Dated need lot of work Staff are amazing and friendly. Beach is not on property but it’s just across the street they used the Doctors Cave Beach. Didn’t care for it . I would never return not because of the staff they were amazing a lot with Miss Walker she’s always busy . The owner is something else not friendly . They try there best during the Hurricane but was not fair in there price for extended periods because there no way we could leave. They didn’t have water as promised to flush unti it was 2days after we ask they did immediately. They had the generator and WiFi and always have a hot meal for us thanks for that.

My room wasn't the cleanest by far had little bugs on the dresser ants in the bathroom just wasn't the best, the staff was nice but the limited towel and wash clothes and no sheets didn't like that at all!!

I recently stayed at Deja Resort during Hurricane Melissa, and I cannot say enough good things about the experience. Despite the challenging circumstances, the staff went above and beyond to make sure every guest felt safe, cared for, and comfortable. They provided three full meals a day, checked in on us constantly to ensure we had everything we needed, and maintained such a calm, reassuring presence the entire time. It truly felt like being part of a family rather than just a guest at a hotel. Even through a hurricane, Deja Resort managed to deliver warmth, hospitality, and exceptional service. I’m so grateful for how they handled everything — and I will absolutely be returning next year! Highly recommend this resort to anyone visiting Montego Bay — especially if you value genuine care and amazing service.
