nice interior, but a lot of inconsistencies and location was subpar
I was surprised when we arrived, the neighborhood was unkempt, a lot of construction and unfinished houses. It is a 3 story house and the host lives on the second floor, we stayed on the 3rd floor. The entrance is not private. We have to walk through the living room, pass through the 2nd floor where the host stays and to our room on the 3rd floor. On the 2nd day of our stay we woke up to seeing a man on the roof and he could stare directly into our room while we were on the bed. When i called the host in shock, she knew he was coming up to do something for our A/C but did not have the decency to warn us. The stove was not working, and the host didn’t even know. She had to bring us a kettle from her space because there was none. She did not provide hand soap, I had to ask. The body wash, shampoo and conditioner were in unlabeled travel bottles. There was only 1 additional toilet paper provided. There was no garage parking, we had to park on the street in a neighborhood that didn’t feel very safe. We got locked out one night and it it rains the gate opener doesn’t work well.
Samantha was very nice and accommodating but the inconsistencies were too much.
