This was a great hotel, the location is perfect to all of the fantastic shops, cafes, restaurants. This area is very walkable which I really enjoyed and it allowed us to explore Montreal. We will definitely stay here next time we come to Montreal

Great location, the staff was incredibly friendly. The bed was comfortable and the room was very spacious. The terrace on the main floor was nice to sit outside and enjoy. Our AC unit only worked sporadically which was frustrating given how hot it was when we had visited, but at the end of the day it wasn't the biggest deal considering we were only in the room at night. I would definitely stay here again! I appreciated the underground valet service, I felt confident in the safety of my vehicle.

Cool vibe. Great area. Rooms appear modern but in the daylight the rooms are in need of repair - desk chairs are chipped and seating is very worn. Flooring had gaps where planks had separated from the others. Long wait for the valet to retrieve cars as there is only one person manning the valet desk - he was awesome but a fair amount of people were waiting.

Unsafe and Unacceptable Experience Upon checking in, I felt as if I had stepped into a horror movie. The room was filthy, the shared bathroom was in disarray, and the overwhelming stench of sewage made me feel utterly unsafe and unprotected. The odor was intolerable, leaving me no choice but to leave immediately and find accommodations elsewhere. This hotel is grossly overpriced given the deplorable conditions. I strongly believe this hotel should be removed from Expedia’s listings, as it is not suitable to recommend to any traveler.

When I arrived at the hotel, the front desk stated that they did not have a reservation for me. I showed them my confirmation from Expedia and they spent a few minutes trying to locate my reservation without success. I asked if they a room available and they said no, and told me to contact Expedia. No apology, no offer of assistance. With no affordable rooms in nearby hotels and with no place to stay, I got in my car and drove 3+ hours home. I have used Expedia for over 20 years for many stays, flights, and car rentals and this has never happened before. Expedia customer service assisted me with a refund and contacted the hotel. The hotel suddenly had a room available for me to check in, after I’d already given up and gone home. For me, this was a major inconvenience, but for a traveler coming from much farther away, this would have been disastrous. The hotel looked very nice, modern, and stylish. Location is fantastic. I wish I could have actually stayed.
