Location is perfect
Heart of downtown with an awesome accessibility to old port and village
Cleanliness wold be better except little cockroaches in the breakfast area
We asked for shower towel they gave us hand towel
No window in the room to getting fresh air
Since it’s located in downtown and it’s noisy and hustle and bustle district so that the soundproof windows did work anyway
Entrance of the hotel is always blocked with homeless people and it’s kinda scary and inappropriate when you wanna walk in to the hotel.
About the staff the guy at night shifts so was grumpy all the time and tried to speak french while we spoke English and the rest of the crew was kind and lovely.
By and large it was good if you wanna explore the city like us and don’t have a plan to stay long at the hotel but if you wanna be there to chillax you are in the wrong property.
The hotel generally is a bit run down. The rooms were in rough shape. The beds were terrible. There is no elevator at this hotel, so something to be aware of. It is very central to old Montreal and some tourist attractions. If you are on a budget, then it can fit the bill.
Great, spacious room for the price. Two comfy queen beds (only 2 pillows each), full kitchenette which we didn't use since we had a short stay. Bathroom could've been a little cleaner but not terrible. Reminded me of an upgraded room at a hostel. Busy part of town so lots of activity out the window which can be a little noisey at night. Access to lobby requires being buzzed in by reception. Patio/deck in middle of hotel was nice. Would stay again.

Montreal downtown. It’s to be expected. The place was great. The price was great and they even had breakfast included. The sheets were dirty or stained but the rest was ok. The service was great. Very friendly and bilingual! Thank you!!

This hotel is in an excellent location! The rooms themselves are pretty minimal, but it's a good deal for the location.
It was filthy, cockroaches in the dining room, clients on drugs, noise every night. We felt safe in our room only once it was locked and even then, not very safe, let me tell you.
I have traveled a lot and this was almost the worst experience I had regarding hotel accommodation.

The room met my very basic needs for my short trip. Staff was friendly, and the room was clean
Beautiful spot downtown, many shops and the subway is really close by but this also a curse. Dealing with the noise and traffic late into the night can be a lot. Plus having the homeless beg you for stuff the moment you walk outside is real eye opener.
I chose this place because of its location to Quartier des Spectacles and some of the Lumieres events, and I was really looking forward to it. Unfortunately I was extremely disappointed. We got stuck in "Block D" which was not even in the same building. No quaint furnishings, interior brickwork like in the photos, and the bathroom needed a good scrub along the baseboards. We had to walk outside of the main building onto a roof walkway to get to this extra block of rooms. Fire escape stairwell along the way had wads of insulation fibres strewn about mixed with pigeon poop. These rooms should not be rented out. If I worked there, I would never assign these rooms to anyone, not sure why we were! Will NOT be back.
