I used to stay here 30+ yrs ago and it was a luxury facility but now it has deteriorated so much that I will not stay here again. The room was next to Declare main road and it was noisy all day and night even with window closed.

Rooms were clean. The customer service front staff is approachable and friendly. We had smooth check in and check out experience. The property is like new and neat. One thing that I noticed that can be improve is lighting in the room. Its bit low to cover everything but overall 10/10 experience.

They really need to do a checklist of the things in the room to make sure they work before allowing it to be used by a guest. Way too many things did not work. The hair dryer, bolted to the wall, did not work. The mini-fridge, on its medium setting, froze my drinks solid. The coffee maker was defective and leaked almost all the water. There was no alarm clock with a charging hub, though apparently there was supposed to be one. There was no power outlet near the night tables. The nearest outlets were concealed behind the bed or behind a sofa, yet no extension cord in the room with a power bar to make up for this glaring inadequacy in an age of digital devices or CPAP machines. Towels were unduly rationed. Room was nicely cleaned by very polite housekeeing ladies. Service to correct problems mostly took way too long or wasn't provided at all.

I appreciated the quick and hassle-free check-in and check-out process. The front desk staff was very helpful and courteous. When I raised an issue, they ensured it was resolved immediately. I also enjoyed the abundance of eateries nearby, as well as a mall in close proximity. Free parking was a bonus. However, I wasn't particularly fond of the room I was assigned; it faced a busy street, which was noisy, especially at night. The hotel is adjacent to a busy freeway, resulting in heavy traffic. I heard sirens during the two nights I stayed there. My husband and I are seniors, and we had to walk quite a distance to reach our room, which was inconvenient given my husband's walking difficulties. The room was spacious but dated, and I would have appreciated a full-length mirror, as there were only mirrors in the bathroom. The bathtub needed a thorough cleaning. Additionally, there were no lamps next to the bed, so we had to get out of bed to turn off the lights. In all the hotels I've stayed at, there have always been lamps next to the bed and individual reading lights. The bed was lumpy and old. There were also no charging outlets available for my phone charger, and the TV channels were limited, offering little to watch.

This hotel was highly recommended by our orthopedic surgeon. Who suggested we give them a try based on the fact that other patients had stayed there. Their hospitality was amazing. Their accommodations were very clean. My only suggestion would be to have a wheelchair accessible walk-in shower instead of a tub like shower.
