This hotel is very basic, which was expected for the price. Clean, spartan room. Some issues that could easily be resolved, e.g., no cell phone charging next to the bed, shower doors did not remain closed. But the one big issue is that the common areas of this hotel were freezing! This was the weekend of January 23-25. It was very cold that weekend. However, it should not come as a surprise that the weather would be cold in Montreal in January. A big plus is free underground parking, especially when it’s cold. The included breakfast was very basic, made up for by a wonderful woman (Josiane) who was in charge of the breakfast. Very hard-working, kind, and helpful.

Wonderful, clean accommodations for a very affordable price in a great location. We were very pleased. Unfortunately, somewhere between Expedia and the Spark we booked a room with a king bed, but we got a room with a queen bed.

If you are looking for a place to stay - minimal deco, clean room, comfy bed and coffee in the morning- this hotel is perfect for those seeking a good place to sleep, at a extremely reasonable cost. Although the area is not suited for sightseeing, it is conveniently located near both the Snowden and Cote St Catherine metro, so getting anywhere is easy. There is underground parking as well. The room as super comfortable , clean and very quiet despite the location. I'd stay again. My only complaint is that I could not find a glass to drink water.

Spark Hotel is a great option for anyone looking for a high-quality hotel at an affordable price. The rooms are clean and spacious, and the staff is incredibly kind and helpful. The breakfast is complete, and the parking is hested and spacious (and safe!)

Easy parking underground. Decent breakfast continental nothing fancy but you’ll find something. Windows in room don’t open, air is super dry from the heating, I like to be able to have fresh air so this was an issue for me. Otherwise the hotel is great with very friendly and helpful staff.

Clean hotel, very basic amenities and services. Breakfast also very simple but good. Parking convienent and location was good for us. Would recommend if looking for inexpensive and simple place to stay.
