The buffet hot breakfast plus cereals, toast and croissant was very good. The view over the bay from the breakfast room was appreciated. We paid for a room with a sea view and it was a good view. The room had a smartTV which not only enabled us to watch live TV but also catch up with programmes we had missed. Our room was on the top floor and was not really big enough for the king size bed that was in it- ok for one night. The hotel has great potential with a bit of TLC and a refurb, not unlike Morecambe itself.

This was the second time that I have stayed here. The hotel is well worn - don't expect a new out-of-the-box chain hotel - but the staff are excellent and the view is superb. To sit at breakfast and look out over the bay cannot be matched by hotels in Lancaster or on the motorway. It's not much more than 15 minutes by car from the M6, parking is free and the sea is just over the road.

The room was clean and tidy. The walls a bit thin as you could hear what was going on next door. With breakfast included it was very good value. However parking was a big problem couldn't get parked near the hotel.

The room was disgusting, blood stains on mattress, hole in the wall underneath the window, the only good thing about the room was the view. Also polystyrene tiles on the ceiling which is a fire hazard, I phoned the hotel up today and he told me that is the 2nd best room they have so god knows what the other rooms are like, stay clear of this place.
