We loved their homemade honey and bought some to bring home. We also loved their delicious breakfast buffet and that they have their own butcher. The beds were very comfortable, and the owners were very accommodating when we unexpectedly needed to arrive late. We wished we were staying longer than one night!

We called the hotel on the way because we knew we would be late and they were very accommodating and put us at ease that our room was ready and no issues with the late arrival. The staff were friendly and we had a great nights sleep.

Very nice hotel located close to autobahn. We stopped for a night on a nothbound journey, and are satisfied. Very helpfull and nice staff. Big, clean room and newly renovated fresh toilet. Nice bed. Good breakfast even if not a "full hotel breakfast" missing hot dishes etc. We have no complaints.

Super nice Gasthof in the beautiful surroundings

Our overnight stay was a very positive experience. We were greeted by the family owners of the Gasthof and immediately settled in at the nice and spacious room. 49 rooms available. The dinner comprises of a variety of local dishes - large portions. It was terrific. Beds are comfortable and the room and bathroom were newly renovated. The breakfast is traditional german with plenty of cheese and salami, bread and eggs served in a comfortable Gaststube. Do not cheat yourself from trying or buying the by the house produced products: likors, wine, sausages, honey. Tesla chargers are literally located in the Gasthof backyard. Amazing place in the Rhön Wald 2km from the A7 Autobahn.
