I recently stayed at Hotel Boddy and honestly, it was a disappointing experience. First of all, the towels were not clean, which gave a bad impression right from the start. Several pieces of furniture were broken, making the room feel neglected and uncomfortable. One of the worst parts was a glass window on the ceiling that was damaged and couldn’t be closed, letting in all the light early in the morning and making it impossible to get proper rest. I wouldn’t recommend this place and definitely won’t be coming back.

It honestly took me 2 days of a 4 day stay to warm up to this hotel. If you’re a teen and want to double or triple up for your Munich stay then this is the hotel for you. Front desk clerk wants nothing to do with you when you check in, but says please ask if you need anything. I really didn’t need anything from him. It is close to transportation but that doesn’t mean I need to see trams, busses, bicycles, the Polizei, ambulances and cars out my front window.

Great location walkable to everything! We chose the city view but in hindsight it probably would’ve been better not to because there was street noise. Totally worth staying here anyways though for the location. Entry to the hotel is a bit underwhelming because the lobby is just a tiny thing on second floor but overall an excellent stay and option for Munich!

Perfect location, the rooms are cozy and the staff super friendly. There's literally a subway station at the door, with a whole underground world right at the step. 10 min walk from the main square and attractions, really worth it.

Good option

Hotel room was a squeeze for three, but otherwise comfortable. Bathroom was nice and had great water pressure. Location is very walkable, but it is loud outside at night so wouldn't recommend it for sensitive sleepers. A nice extra was the pastries and fruit at reception.

This place would be great for people who are going out drinking and don’t care about noise or light coming in. Unfortunately is not great for families. I’ve never heard so many ambulances and police vehicles go past! It is a very busy street, which is great in one way as very close to everything, but it does make it loud. Strangely there were only sheer curtains which let in the lights of the busy street as well as the sunlight. To place would be improved immensely if they installed acoustic block-out curtains- allowing people to sleep without flashing lights and also dampening down the sound. They did provide snacks, which was a lovely thing, and also have luggage storage which is helpful. And again, the location is great, walking distance to most of the sites.
