This was the first stay on a two-week trip to Bavaria. The property is clean, modern, and very conveniently located to the Altstadt. It's 450m to the nearest U-Bahn stop, just over 1km to Marienplatz, and a 5-minute walk to the Englischer Garten. Would stay there again. Only downsides: no A/C (same as many European properties), and no washcloths in the bathroom. Super-friendly staff who didn't snicker at my bad college German and went out of their way to help and make suggestions about places to see.

Easy to find, friendly staff, good breakfast. I stayed in several hotels across the EU and Unsöld’s had my absolute favorite bed and pillows. There is a vending machine that is thoughtfully located by elevator and you can get a beer at reception and enjoy in courtyard.

Fantastic hotel. Very trendy, with really friendly welcoming staff. The room was lovely, decent sized room with a very comfortable bed! A good buffet breakfast too with plenty of choice. The location was perfect for exploring Munich, everything was in walking distance. The hotel car park is expensive but there is plenty of parking on the street. A great place to stay!

Well located, give breakfast a miss

Well located in a quiet area but not far from key sights and barn. Had a studio suite which was well appointed with very welcome air con. Staff were great. Only disappointment was the breakfast which was not very good and expensive.

Everything was wonderful. The deco, the breakfast with Vegan options and the staff. Super comfy bed, beautiful spacious bed. Walking distance to U Bahn, restaurants and more. Only caveat is no AC on the hottest days (35C) and sleep was hard to come by due to that. Multiple fans were provided in the room. Highly recommend staying at this place and will come back unless it’s on super hot days, then I’d search for a place with AC.

Hotel is in a quiet location and is clean etc.. but the rooms don't have air conditioning and there is no sheet on the bed only a duvet so it was either very hot or cold. Not a very comfortable sleep
