Pros: • Excellent service with very friendly staff who consistently went above and beyond to help • Wonderful breakfast with a rich and varied selection • Very clean room Cons: • Hotel feels very old and outdated • First room had a noticeable smell of old carpet and furniture • Overall atmosphere felt more like a 3-star hotel • Food and drinks are crazily overpriced compared to options outside the hotel Overall verdict: • Due to the outdated condition of the hotel and poor value for money, I would not recommend this hotel and will not be returning.

We booked a room saying 3 people. They had room for 2 and didnt have extra bed to provide in the executive suite. When we asked for bed they said they only had a crib for our 13 year old and said “just sleep on the floor” the room was $500 a night. Location is horrible too.

The location was easy to find and situated perfectly for visiting Muttrah (fort, souq, coastline). The service has been amazing, everybody was exceptionally friendly. We could even check in earlier! Food at breakfast, dinner and at the pool has been full of variety and always tasty. Rooms have always been clean and ours has been quite large. Furniture is a little bit outdated but that did not bother us.

We were given a very big and spacious room which was perfect for my crawling daughter. The staff were lovely although the attendant at the buffet was not very friendly and made us feel unwelcomed the one night we wanted to go for the buffet, so we ended up leaving. Outdoor pool is so lovely and very popular with the guests (it was hard to find beds at times). I love that they cater to modesty for women around the leisure facilities. Area is great and very convenient if you hire a car for Muscat (which is recommended). Not far from the loveliest serene beach in Qantab.
