Discover the best of Victoria's High Country from Myrtle Creek Cottage, a cosy two-bedroom, pet-friendly cottage nestled at the foot of Reform Hill in beautiful Myrtleford. Just a five-minute walk from the town centre and with the Murray to Mountains Rail Trail running directly behind the property, the cottage is ideally located for couples, families and four-legged companions looking to explore the region.

Sleeping up to five guests, Myrtle Creek Cottage has a queen bed in the main bedroom and a queen and single bed in the second bedroom. Inside you'll find a comfortable living area with a fireplace, a well-equipped kitchen and free Wi-Fi, with self check-in making arrival simple and convenient.

Outside, there's plenty of space to slow down and enjoy the country setting. Start the morning with coffee on the front patio as the sun rises, relax in the large garden during the day, or unwind on the rear deck in the evening as the sun sets.

A perfect base for exploring Victoria's High Country

Myrtleford's central location makes the cottage an ideal base for discovering some of North East Victoria's most popular destinations. Bright and historic Beechworth are both around a 25-minute drive away, while Mount Buffalo National Park, Lake Buffalo, local wineries and the surrounding valleys offer plenty to explore.

Cyclists can access the Murray to Mountains Rail Trail directly behind the property, making Myrtle Creek Cottage a particularly convenient base for cycling holidays and leisurely rides through the region.

During winter, venture further into the mountains for a day at Mount Hotham, then return to Myrtleford, light the fire and settle in with a glass of local wine.

Pets are welcome at Myrtle Creek Cottage. The rear of the property, where guests tend to spend most of their outdoor time, is fenced. However, there are some gaps toward the upper part of the property, so dogs with an adventurous nature should be supervised while outside.

Beautiful Cottage

Myrtle Creek Cottage is an absolute delight. We had a wonderful and restful week there. The cottage is well equipped with everything you could need to cook and eat in. The decor and furnishings are top class. Beautiful towels, linen and the beds are extremely comfortable as are the quash leather couches! We recommend Myrtle Creek Cottage to anyone who wants a restful and comfortable time away.

Great winter holiday property

Clean and tidy cottage for a winter getaway. Has reverse cycle aircon as well as fireplace for heating, but no firewood supplied (as aircon primary heating). This was disappointing, but otherwise property was as advertised and very comfortable for 3 adults (would suit small family also) Easy walk to shops, eateries, pub. Easy access to rail trail for bike riding. Would return to property and Myrtleford.

Reviewer Comments: Beautifully decorated and equipped cottage in established garden setting, an exquisite place for cyclists or those who seek a quiet country-side get-away. Immaculately clean and equipped with full kitchen and good sized bathroom. Cosy living room with functioning wood-fired oven, comfy couches and large TV. Large garden with plenty of room to run around. Tucked away at end of a cul-de-sac away from all traffic and noise but walking distance to the village centre. We highly recommend this place, in particular as there aren't many alternatives of this nature in Myrtleford.
