Outdoor pool was under renovation they didn’t mention that lol. Place is getting dated. From the front it looks like a motel but it happens to be on the ocean on the other side. Coast hotel gets free mini golf which is 50 bucks a round for 4 people. Hotel Feng does the free breakfast and also has a hot tub. No hot tub no breakfast getting a bit dated. I’d go elsewhere. Food was very good happy hour was even a rip off though.

We had a fabulous stay at the Bayside resort! The grounds were gorgeous, the ocean view was spectacular and our room was perfectly set up! The patio was perfect to enjoy the delicious Nespresso coffee in the morning after a great sleep in the comfy beds! The restaurant had the best fish and chips I’ve ever tasted and we picked fresh blackberries by the water and lounged in the chairs in a beautiful little atea overlooking the water. The staff were fabulous and even offered a little welcome gift for our little pup who was travelling with us! This was such a great experience and the perfect stay, we will definitely be back! Thanks for everything Bayside 🙏❤️

Annual family vacation.

This is our fourth trip and we have enjoyed our stay each time. The hotel is making improvements all the time and we look forward to what we find new every year. The hotel staff and helpful and friendly. The restaurant menu is amazing and the beach access makes it all worth it.

Staff were polite, friendly and helpful throughout our stay. They were a real positive to the hotel. Breakfast was very good, although a bigger range might be useful. You order from a menu. It might be nice to have the breakfast included in the price. Lovely access to the beach. Rooms were well equipped and we had a sea view which was lovely. The rooms suffer from noise issues from guests, just not enough sound proofing. Overall a good stay, thanks to the staff.

A disaster with the dining room. I went down for information about the menu (my child has food allergies) and spoke to a very friendly staff member, When it came time to order we selected Halibut/risotto dish for myself and the Halibut fish and chips for my child (as it was reported to not have dairy, soy, or sugar). Something that is possible since we had it a couple of times later on the trip. My dish arrived looking ok and the second dish arrived as an unadorned plate of fries with a tiny piece of fish grilled on top. I asked what happened to the fish and chips and they said they couldn’t guarantee with certainty that there wasn’t diary in it. It looked like something no one should have sent from a kitchen to a diner. I said we could change to grilled halibut steak and vegetables but then was told they were out of halibut. They eventually brought a rather sad looking piece of grilled chicken with few vegetables. When the bill arrived I was charged for my dish and the two failed attempts from the kitchen. Insult to injury - my risotto was nearly inedible. The tomatoes in the dish had been dried (were large) and like rubber. Since this was the first night of a two week trip it certainly wasn’t a good beginning. One night was plenty.
