The property looked nothing like the VRBO photos. The vestibule and halls were dirty, the floors were worn, and the room smelled strongly of mold as soon as we entered. The walls were peeling with visible water damage. Dead insects were on the counters and throughout the suite, and the counters themselves were dirty. The bed had hair in it and what appeared to be dead insects on the pillows. The bathroom towels were old, stained, and ratty, and only one face towel was provided despite a two‑person, two‑night reservation.We immediately called the emergency number. The first response we received was, “Did you expect a hotel,” which was unprofessional and dismissive. We were offered new sheets and another trailer, but after seeing the condition of this unit, we no longer trusted the cleanliness or accuracy of their listings. We requested a refund and were told to speak with the manager on Monday. The manager stated they would only refund one night because they had offered alternatives. This is unacceptable.To be clear: the VRBO listing is misleading. The furniture, countertops, bedding, and towels were completely different from the photos. The towels even had stains resembling human excrement. This was false advertising and an unsanitary, misrepresented property.
