Perfect little family-run boutique hotel

The room was spacious and made our group of 3 (mother and child plus friend) feel so comfortable and relaxed. The homemade breakfast on the terrace was delicious and the beauty of the surroundings made it just perfect. The family who runs the hotel is just lovely: attentive and ready to help. They made us feel very welcome while also giving us plenty of privacy.

I loved this property. It was outside the hustle bustle of other hotels. The rooms were very nice and clean. The breakfasts were delicious, and varied each day. Mehmet was a fantastic host and also was able to drive me in his taxi into Göreme. I’d recommend this property!!

Capiedra Hotel is in Uçhisar, a quiet town compared to Göreme, but it has everything you need. Restaurants, Uçhisar Castle, Pigeon Valley are all walking distance. I walked to Göreme which took one hour and it was a pleasant walk. Stopping at various points to capture the panoramic views. Mehmet has set up the hotel in their old family home with his mum making fresh breakfast each day. His team of workers are all kind and helpful. Mehmet responded in a timely manner to any of my inquiries leading up to my holiday, as well as answering any questions I had about tours one I had arrived. He booked my hot air balloon flight after advising me to wait a day, as the prices would drop significantly. Which was good advice that he shared, as there had been no flights due to bad weather conditions. The room is spacious with a kettle, tea bags and coffee were free and a mini fridge filled with drinks and chocolate at a cost. The bathroom had shampoo and shower gel available, as well as hand soap. The bed was very comfortable with extra blanket available. This I definitely needed as the temperatures were not quite I was expecting. I would highly recommend staying at Capiedra Hotel if you want a quiet location to explore the region. Mehmet and his team can assist in organising the red and green tours, which I would also recommend doing. He also offers a private taxi service if there is a group of you going and as a solo traveller I felt very safe walking around the area.

I stayed in a standard room but it was so lovely and comfortable. The staff were exceptionally friendly and helpful. Breakfast was lovely and I could watch the balloons rise behind the castle. Unfortunately the shower head was not working properly and the water didn’t get warm so I missed a shower. Otherwise a lovely little homely hotel.

Breakfasts were great, with a homemade feel. Property is in a neighborhood, so very quiet, but very easy walk to shops/restaurants and the castle. Staff very friendly and helpful. Felt very much like a family run business. Overall, we prefer quiet Uchisar (where Capiedra is) over Goreme, which feels like a busy tourist trap. Would definitely come to Capiedra Hotel again.

Mehmet was incredibly kind during our stay. He helped arrange a balloon ride and also helped set up a ride to the airport. He quickly responded to any questions. The property itself feels very authentic. It was very clean and is surrounded by grapes vines and pear trees. Our bed was comfortable and the shower was hot. Also the breakfast was delicious and the service was prompt. Everything was very professional. I would definitely visit again. For a place like Cappadocia where there are many options to stay, it is the small touches that go a long way. A great example was Mehmet helping us as we left to another hotel by taking all of our luggage in his personal car so we wouldn’t need to get a taxi. Then once we arrived he made sure all of our luggage was accounted for before leaving.

Great stay at Mehmet's hotel! Highly recommended for his welcoming and his tips and help to discover this area. Mehmet even drove us to facilitate our hike in the valleys around Uchisar, everything was perfect.

Perfect place to stay

Es un lugar hermoso! Lo recomiendo 100%. La atención es espectacular, el lugar es impecable, las camas son muy cómodas, las habitaciones son amplias y muy lindas y se puede disfrutar también de varias terrazas muy frescas y confortables. El desayuno es delicioso y muy abundante y te lo sirven en una terraza que tiene una vista privilegiada. Tuvimos acompañamiento directo del dueño del hotel desde nuestra llegada, el se preocupó de cada detalle y nos aseguró no sólo una estadía muy placentera en su hotel, sino también una experiencia maravillosa en Capadocia. Nos ayudó contactando alguien que nos recogiera a nuestra llegada en el aeropuerto, nos contactó un buen guía en Español para un tour, nos logró conseguir un cupo para el tradicional viaje en globo e incluso estuvo pendiente en la madrugada para asegurarse que saliéramos a tiempo para no perdernos el espectáculo. Nos ofreció mucho más que un alojamiento y sin duda volvería a elegir su hotel. Se merece 5 estrellas más ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

Konaklama yeri uçhisarın tam merkezinde kaleye yürüme mesafesinde hemen yakınında market var. Kahvaltı serpme şeklinde her gün farklı bir şey yapılıyor sıcak olarak.
