The Space:

Welcome to your cozy home‑away‑from‑home in the heart of New Cumberland. Guests enjoy the entire two‑story house to themselves, offering comfort, privacy, and a classic small‑town vibe while staying close to central Pennsylvania’s top attractions.

The home comfortably sleeps up to 6 guests:

- Bedroom 1: Queen bed
- Bedroom 2: Two twin beds
- Living Room: Queen pull‑out sofa with a 5‑inch mattress topper for extra comfort

There’s a full bathroom upstairs and a convenient half bath downstairs, plus a dining room, living space with smart TV (streaming & DVDs), and WiFi throughout.

The kitchen is equipped with cooking facilities including stovetop, oven, microwave, cookware, dishes, coffee maker, and a waffle maker with complimentary waffle supplies. A washer/dryer, central A/C, and off‑street parking add to your ease and comfort.

Families with young children are welcome — baby items such as a booster seat, playpen, and baby bath are available upon request.

Outdoor Space:

Step outside and relax in your fenced‑in backyard — ideal for pets, outdoor meals, or just soaking up some fresh air. The yard features outdoor seating and a picnic area for your enjoyment.

As a special perk, guests also receive complimentary breakfast vouchers for Carpe Diem, a local favorite down the street, in addition to in‑house coffee and waffle supplies.

Guest Access:

Guests have full private access to the home, backyard, and parking areas — nothing is shared.

Check‑in: After 3:00 PM
Check‑out: By 11:00 AM
Early or late departure: Possible at no cost, when availability allows (cannot be guaranteed)
Arrival is simple with our self‑check‑in system using a coded keypad lock on both the front and back doors. Free street parking is available in front of the house, and private off‑street parking can be accessed out back via Maple Alley (the only roadway between Bridge St and Market St).

Interaction with Guests:

Your privacy is respected at all times. Most guests prefer a hands‑off stay, and the keypad entry makes check‑in seamless. That said, I live right next door — so if you need local tips, an extra hand, or something unexpected comes up, I am always happy to help.

Neighborhood:

Located in the walkable, historic town of New Cumberland, the house is just steps from local shops, cafés, and restaurants — perfect if you want an authentic small‑town America vibe.

For day trips, the house is an ideal central hub:

- Hersheypark – 30 minutes
- Carlisle Fairgrounds – 30 minutes
- Farm Show Complex (Harrisburg) – short drive
- Interstate 81 – nearby for easy access up or down the East Coast

Other Things to Note:

The house is older, and the staircase is steep — guests with mobility needs may find it challenging.

Pets are warmly welcomed! The fenced yard makes it easy to bring your furry companion along. Please clean up after them.
